5- stars all around! We stayed here twice over the course of a 12- day trip (with a cruise in the middle). The first stay was a small apartment in the main building. Very clean with great views of the square. The 2nd stay was a deluxe apartment in the annex. Easily sleeps 4 people with a nice bathroom and full kitchen. Both stays had AC, private en suites and an honor "mini bar." The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Word of caution. This hotel is inside the Diocletian Palace walls. There are NO elevators in a 4th century palace! Even the check in desk requires a walk up a flight of stairs. Your room may be 2 flights up or 3! They have staff who will help you, but when we left to catch an airport shuttle at 5am, we had to bring it down ourselves... thank goodness we had carry-ons! This will be our go to hotel in Split in the future
