I stayed at Hotel Casa-Merlin for two weeks for the second time because it is a truly serene and wonderful place with such a great central pool in Olga's magnificent garden property. I stayed in one of several cabinas set within the superb grounds full of tropical flowers,shrubs and trees in full bloom,some releasing the sweetest fragrances at night . There were many occasions I was lucky to experience excellent viewing of wildlife( like the 2 Sloths and massive Iguanas in a towering tree,as well as greengold little poison-dart frogs in the shade),birds and a stunning variety of colourful butterflies straight from this refreshing pool. This place is on a quiet road,yet very close to many good dining options close by. It has a tranquil atmosphere and will appeal to travellers wanting the best of nature in a comfortable homey setting. I will be returning here frequently!
