First of all, the front desk staff are not helpful at all, it took me about 20 min to check out, I don't even know how it can be such long time! 
The inner hotel is very old and absolutely not well managed. The room floors are mix with the renting office inside this buiding, can you image that! It doesn't give you any sense of safety, trust me, leave the hotel away.

A poor hotel

All China hotels must have a problem with their bathroom design. This hotel is too modern. The shower stall was a transparent glass wall facing the bedroom although they covered it with a double curtain. There wasn't a bath tub. The shower stall is spacious but the toilet is cramped. Shower stall looks a tad old.

Nonetheless, the front desk is accommodating to our requests and efficient. Room attendant service is prompt.

There was also a special potable water supply tap in the bathroom. This is really important in summer. 

What's more, Carrefour is just across the road junction in a shopping center. 

Do not ask the hotel to get a taxi for you. The doorman will split the commission with the taxi driver and you will pay double the normal fare.

Kettle , tea bags, slippers are provided.

Hot milk , local food provided during breakfast.

Avant Garde Bathroom in a convenient location

This must be one of the worst business hotels I'd stayed in China in my many trips to the country over the past  ten years! The bathroom was especially bad -- the shower stall was falling apart, the drainage system does not work properly and gets flooded each time anybody showers, and worse, it's so dirty the hotel obviously acknowledges it and provides you with rubber sandals to wear when you shower!

The carpets in the room were also tearing, fraying and extremely dirty. Wall papers were tearing and falling apart while the amenities in the room do not befit a 4-star hotel calims to be. I dunno if it's just me, but I felt like ending it all by leaving on the first night. And with internet also not working, it's very much a wasted business trip to one of the old, ancient capitals of China!

I won't recommend you even considering to stay here. Instead stay away and don't even think this is a 4-star business hotel, it's not and VERY far from it. Just also check out the (almost non-existent) bsuiness centre and try eating the sumptuously, bland breakfast. You will like me, wanna leave asap when you "use" these facilities.

Stay away, stay far far away

This hotel was booked though our Tour agency and we were not able to find much advance information on this hotel so we were surprised when we arrived to find such a nice hotel.  The hotel front desk and housekeeping service was very good and the room was nicer than usual for a four star hotel.  This hotel only had a chinese and not a western breakfast however if you are adventurous there is quite a selection of items.  We visited Luoyang to visit the famous Longmen grottos and Shaolin Temple which were amazing to see.  Another site to visit is the Museum of the Emporer's Six Horse Charriot which showed a facinating look at life in the Zhou dynasty.
