My husband and I stayed for Christmas while visiting family over the holidays. I wish I had better photos to share of this wonderful and well appointed guest house. We were very comfortable. The suite has a very comfortable king size bed, comfy clawfoot bathtub, a little kitchen and sitting area with plenty of windows, skylights, and a balcony overlooking the back garden and forest. We would recommend this place to anyone! The floor plan is open apart from the bathroom. The couch also folds down into a bed so it could work for friends. I think it's best for couples, but friends would be comfortable too. Comox might not be top of my list for a romantic getaway, but it's ON the list because of the Mulberryland Guest House.  

From the home-made cookies to the bathrobes to the sweet suite, we had a lovely stay and were made to feel very welcome by Naomi and Nico, and it was wonderful to be surrounded by Naomi's lovely art. Sorry we couldn't stay longer to enjoy the hot tub and explore the garden. This would be a great location from which to explore the whole valley. Highly recommended.

Had an outstanding experience staying at this unique B&B.   Accommodations and food were top-notch, plus the room is actually in a separate building from the main house.  What gives this B&B a unique edge is Naomi's art; and interior design (largely "Dr. Seuss"-influence, although she has her own unique style as well).   Check out the backyard garden too; believe me, this is no ordinary venue...   It's not just a B&B, it's a tourist attraction in its own right.

In 2007 my husband and I were waiting impatiently for my passport to arrive, and when it failed to show up just before the wedding I was panicking!  We had wanted to go away for our honeymoon out of Canada, but fate had other plans.  It brought me to Naomi & Nico teWinkel, the lovely hosts of this beautiful B&B.  They were super helpful in booking us in last minute, worked hard to make sure our stay was fun and romantic.  They were quite possibly the very best hosts ever.  We were given special treats, a fabulous breakfast, and the room was kept neat and tidy every day.  Perhaps my favourite part of the b&b (aside from the hosts!) was the claw foot bath tub and hand made local soaps provided.  Nothing quite like a soak in a big tub!

Nico & Naomi do a B&B the right way.  They make sure you have everything you need, and I felt comfortable asking them if we thought of something we'd like to do or see and they knew all the best local restaurants and places to check out!  We had a wonderful Canadian adventure honeymoon and when we were there we considered never coming back to Ontario!  I think often of the fresh air, warm friendly vibe of the island, and all the fun my husband and I had while staying there.  

We're hoping to return at some point, perhaps to celebrate an anniversary!

If you want somewhere amazing to stay, this is the place.

I am sometimes reluctant to stay at a B&B because I am very private. But I also appreciate a friendly face, knowing someone is there if I have questions, as quite often I travel alone. The MulBerry Land Guest House is exactly that!
The guest house has all amenities I need........ the huge tub, the very comfy suite, the deck over looking the beautiful gardens and within walking distance to the shops downtown. I'll be bringing my husband back next time:)
