I thoroughly enjoyed this chic little lodging on a quiet street off the main drag when I visited Montreal in 1997. The owner and friend drove me around the city on a sightseeing tour.  The bathroom is big as hell so I had to have a photo.

Delightful!

A turn of the century home with Quebec style colour and flavour, yet modern and minimalistic with a variety of photo art and modern eclectic.  It's quiet, suggest second floor if you are a light sleeper as occasionally there are party goers who will walk by the lower street windows making their happy mood known.  The breakfast is served at 9 am and is intercontinental - cereral, toast good coffee and juice.  All sufficient for a day to explore Montreal.  We stayed six nights and found the owner pleasant and helpful.

Friendly, comfortable and conveniently located

We had a fantastic time. Gilles was very helpful with suggestions about places to visit and helping us to find a parking space. Once we found a parking space; there was no need to use our car. The location is great; close to everything either walking or public transportation (Metro). A lot of restaurants,  free activities and  nightly entertainment  in the area such as the lovely singing and piano playing by very talented people at the Parc de l'Espoir. Our rooms were very nice and clean. Great place to stay. Can't wait to go back!

My First B & B Experience!

I had a few days to be in Montreal, so wanted to stay close to Old Montreal where I could explore.  This little B&B is positioned nicely close to the Metro, is reasonably priced, and is within walking distance of a great selection of restaurants, bistros and little watering holes. Like many I relied on reviews, and was definitely not disappointed in this place!  Gilles is a friendly and considerate host, and his property is a well maintained (turn of the century?) little two storey building with an amazing garden out back.

It's located in an area called the Gay Village, which was a colourful little area of Montreal. I'm not gay myself and found that the community was casual (sometimes quirky) and generally a great hub to tour around Montreal. Too bad I missed the street patios which would have only been 2 blocks away! Thanks Gilles for a great stay!

Great, clean B&B, close to everything, and great host!!

A friend and I went for 4 nights to Montreal, I used Trip Advisor to choose the place I wanted to stay, and I WAS NOT  dissapointed...beautiful house, quiet place, and the best of all basically a small block away from everywhere. If you want a nice LGTB B&B THIS IS THE PLACE !.

Location, Location, Location.

A well located spacious old house. Our room was spacious, super clean, old fashioned with high ceilings. We never had to wait for the shared bathrooms as there were no or few other guests. The bathroom breakfast is spartian, make it yourself cold cereal, toast and there must have been a couple of bananas and an orange if I remember, so one stays there to sleep, not to eat. There is a balcony overlooking and amazing tropical garden, we very much enjoyed our morning coffee there. The owner is courteous and quiet. 
This b&b is located right in the gay village but you do not have to be gay to enjoy it.
