The service and hospitality is wonderful. The hotel is clean the workers at the reception, restaurant and even the guards were so welcoming and helpful. 
Foumban is a small beautiful town full of life with a very rich culture and history. 
It's cold, has loose red earth and dusty but has the most beautiful wooden and bronze art collections
Would love to visit again soon 😻😻

At the first look the hotel was a disappointment but now after our trip it was actually the best hotel. No hot water but the staff brought us some buckets of hot water to our room. 
The bed was clean and the location of the hotel is great. Everything is in walking dtsiance.

Clean and hospitable 

Decent Hotel

Did not stay in hotel but had breakfast there, the breakfast was very well prepared and the coffee was very rich and delicious!  The service was very nice and the upstairs dining area was Lovely. The restroom was very poorly constructed and very filthy. Desk attendant was watching TV and conversing with what looked like her friends. There was no toilet paper and when we asked for some the girl never stopped talking to acknowledge my friends request. That was the worst part about our vist. The bottom portion of the hotel was very dirty! The rest rooms were dirty smelled of urine and with no lighting. 

Trip to Ngoun festival 

Pros:
- unbeatable location
- friendly staff
- restaurant was good (but you need patience) 
- shockingly - there is wifi in the lobby

Cons: 
- seen better days, so run down and kind of frightening looking rooms
- no hot water (despite paying for that)
- terribly hot - no A/C, windows can open, but be prepared to be eaten alive by mosquitos.

Well, first the woman at the desk had an attitude when I try to check in. She said no room were available for under CFA 20,000, but I insisted and she said she had one for CFA 15,000 which was the price for a standard room. Well the room was very small, so was the bathroom. No hot water as the hot water was out of order. The bathroom had a very bad smell, like sewer. No fan or air.con either. I went to the manager and he gave me a lavender spray for cover the smell and refuse to give me another room..... I went to eat at the restaurant and it took more than an hour to get my omelet. There was only two other person in the restaurant!!! So I am not recommending this place.
