When our free airport pick up tuk tuk turned off an unmade road, we were rather worried! However, behind some large metal sliding doors, we discovered an oasis of calm and tranquility. This small hotel far exceeded our expectations. The pool was crystal clear and we had it to ourselves almost all of the time. The room was spacious and air conditioned. The food was delicious and freshly cooked and we tried pretty much every Khmer dish on the menu. The staff were lovely, especially the girls who served our delicious free breakfast. Mr Lin organised trips that met our needs perfectly and the boys at the front desk always had a smile and a tuk tuk ready. The hotel is in a quieter part of Siem Reap, a 10 - 15 minute walk from the centre (Old Market, Pub Street etc) or a 5 minute $2 tuk tuk ride. For us, this was a benefit. Lots of the other guests who were staying at the hotel were there for the yoga school (next door) and so there was a lovely, calm atmosphere at the hotel. We especially liked that the hotel is not for profit and supports women’s projects, the provision of clean drinking water and a local school. And finally, it was EXCELLENT value for money.
