The hotel and thr houses are so interesting and art! Made so stylish and traditional in same time. The pool is clean and the staff is friendly. There is a lot to be seen and done around. Only thig is that the food (and kitchen) is 6 of 10 points. Recommend it.

Interesting place to stay

We were here with a big group of friends, the place is really nice, very cozy, what impressed me is how great the staff was! Our waiter was very accommodating, the food was tasty, we tried everything on the menu. Will be back again 

Great place

We visited the houses in August 2019 with another family who are our American friends. We all had an amazing experience and we would love to go back there. The service was great, the food was homemade and delicious, the activities within the complex were fun for kids and adults, and we had the pleasure of listening to live music at dinner. We stayed with our mini poodle and everyone was so friendly, there was not a moment anything was awkward.

The nature in Devetaki Plateau is beautiful and you can do different trips during the day. 

Everything at this hotel feels like being at home and we can't wait to go back.

Summer escape with lots of fun activities

We were disappointed. There is actually a second house that is farther away from the main one, and there is no table with chairs in the garden or  common space for confortable drink.
 To have a cup of coffee in the morning, you have to go to the main house. Besides, there was no explicit writing in room description that there was no door on the toilet. Between the room and the toilet there was a curtain. And i was there with my friend, which was supposed to come out early in the morning in the cold, becouse i want to use the toilet. In the yard of this house, dogs were jumping from neighboring houses, and it was a bit worrying because they were walking around freely.
Otherwise, the main house is very beautiful, with all the amenities, a nice restaurant with good cuisine, a swimming pool and a nice drink corner. 
Unreasonably expensive.

Disappointed

Food was great. All freshly prepared and home made. Online it might say that dinner costs €20 or something. But this is a mistake. You had a menu to choose from, with very reasonable prices.
Staff were great. Live entertainment (acoustic singer) during dinner. The room was great. Very cute and well decorated. Bathroom was HUGE - lots of space, big shower, 2 sinks. Just be aware that there is only a thin curtain between the bedroom and bathroom. 

Cute boutique hotel near the mountains 

We visited Ongal guest house for a weekend and it was amazing. You can expect great service and absolutely amazing food - the menu is small but contains only traditional Bulgarian dishes. 
Rooms are clean, spacious and recently built with equipped kitchen. One thing that may be considered slight disadvantage is the shared bath in some of the studios but if you’re a group of four that may be easily accepted. No credit card payment at the moment but hopefully the owners consider adding it as its way more convenient and not everyone has the mindset to keep cash at hand. 
The village around Ongal is very traditional and has unique Bulgarian atmosphere. On your way to Ongal you can visit Devetashka cave and Krushunski waterfalls where the nature is very impressive. 
Our best surprise was the live music we had after dinner - guitar duo made tiny concert just as the folks from Boyce Avenue 😊 


Great authentic style guest house

That's an amazing guest house - the staff is very polite and makes you feel at home. 
The rooms combine rural and contemporary style, they are clean and cozy.
The guest house has a pool and a large garden, which is great for hot summer days. The food is organic so it's not very cheap but it's super tasty, so it's worth it. 
You can pay for horse riding with an instructor who is a great guy. The horses are calm and easy to ride. It was great.

A real gem

For five days we were able to enjoy the beauty of the local natural national treasures. Thanks to the hospitality and the brilliant accommodations at 'Ongal'.
We were a company of various ages and nationalities and were warmly welcomed. 'Ongal' surprised us with beautiful style and comfort, large rooms, styled bathrooms and many detailed ideas. A restaurant with delicious and fresh regional food, we could savour under the trees or in the Buddha Bar. In the huge yard we also could swim, ride a horse, use the fitness, play. 
Every question or request of ours was answered. Incredibly good people! Near by the Krushuna Falls and the Devetashka Cave, which we visited. Such a beauty! And one of the breathtaking experiences was the hang gliding.
By car we reached many places. Just a perfect spot to be.
