We felt very comfortable, we were very well received and attended by the owner Lana, Gabi and all the staff. The place has an amazing look, rooms are simple but very clean, quality bedding and bathroom, you wake up with the noise of the birds, you have the option of a full pension, meals are homemade without luxury but tasty and made with affection!!!

Family Weekend

I don't recommend it, it's horrible. I've been staying in such an inn that promises to be a paradise, because I say this: From paradise there's nothing, the place is completely abandoned, it's all too old and abandoned, it gets depressing. The rooms are very ruined, the game room with absolutely everything broken, crooked, falling, missing parts, loose floor, summarizing, unprofitable. The fishing area is summed up in a hole on the edge of the dam with a tiny, abandoned floating deck, with no infrastructure. The restaurant, which on the website shows several food options, has nothing of that. My advice, forget the photos on the website, reality is completely, the only thing that saves the place is beautiful, and it's just different.

I wouldn't recommend it. Horrible.

The inn has no firefighting equipment: extinguisher, smoke detector, or sprinklers. We had a serious problem with the fireplace in our cottage, the smoke was leaking into the room, there was no safety net and the curtain was right next to the fireplace. And when we went to put out the fireplace, there was no way! We had to use glass cups from the fridge to throw water. You never think about this kind of detail until you need to use it. Don't take that risk, neither you nor your family.

Danger of fire!

The guesthouse has a nice view and good Wi-Fi, but the praise stops there. The food in the restaurant is expensive and intolerable, the breakfast is poor (industrial bread and not fresh, low-quality ham, very few options). The chalet has a fireplace but the fireplace doesn't work, we light the fireplace and there was smoke in the whole room. Also, no fire extinguisher anywhere in the guesthouse, a huge risk of accident. Everything we asked the staff had to be asked two or three times to arrive. I don't recommend to anyone.

Very weak

The hostel is about four kilometers from the asphalt road. The view is beautiful!!! The rooms are all facing the view of the dam. The place is clean, carefully cared for, pleasant. The breakfast is good, but lunch or dinner is very good. Fresh, simple and tasty food. All the staff are polite and friendly. I took my dogs, they are pet friendly and it was sensational. A place of peace, rest and hospitality. The time I was there was very cold and on Saturday they lit a fire for us... Lana and Samuel were very attentive with us. Nothing to complain about.

No luxury but it's sensational.

The only thing present in the inn is breakfast. The shower is not heated and the towels are extremely thin. The small and old TV tunes in a few channels and with showers. You can listen to everything that happens in the next rooms. The Wi-Fi doesn't work. The amount charged on a daily basis doesn't match what is offered.

Very bad.

It's a family hostel, the people who take care of the place are wonderful, especially Lana. The place is great for staying in touch with nature and getting away from the city. We stayed in suite 1, simple but comfortable and the shower is excellent. The food is delicious. The breakfast, which is included in the daily menu, has several options, everything is fresh and really tasty. As it is far away from the city, the hostel offers lunch and dinner in the buffet system. My family and I have lunch and dinner there all weekend and in every meal we had news. Everything is homey and very tasty. Super recommend!

Calm down and get close!

The hotel is difficult to access. The staff reception is great. But it has a long way to go to improve facilities. Like the bathroom and the number of rooms taken. However, the breakfast is excellent and the nature and the view are amazing. Germinated rooms are a problem if guests are noisy.

Honestly

Solar das Palmeiras offers simple accommodations; reasonable suites (needs to be modernized in the bathrooms and the televisions, which run are tubo); good restaurant, with variety for breakfast. The view, on the edge of the Jaguari dam, is very beautiful, not counting the removal of tucanos and shellfish. Lana is very attentive. She tries to meet all the needs of guests.

Nice place to stay.

We travelled from Los Angeles( me and my 9 years old son) and we were looking for a quiet and peaceful place to detox from the city and we found it!!! we joined some family members there and had a wonderful week. We got there a week before xmas and it was a blast! if you look for quiet time avoid high season which starts around xmas and it goes all the way until Carnaval. We had an excellent stay at the Pousada! Lana he owner was an excellent host...she's a wonderful person, and made us feel totally conformable! the place is clean, the food is good and we came back with wonderful memories...Lana we are coming back this year! and also theres Nicole!!!! her dog...omg! my son and Nicole became buddies!!!
