Booked this after a longhaul 10 hours flight. Because the lady was kind enough, she made me an exception and allowed me to enjoy the airco in the middle of the afternoon. 

But generally speaking, it's very bad that there is an airco curfew (no airco between 7 in the morning and 8 in the evening), the guesthouse is literally below the path of aircraft taking off the nearby airport, and as if that noise wasn't enough, the building is only groundfloor, meaning you can hear all the other guests chatting in the patio. Bathrooms are never cleaned, floor constantly wet.

Pay attention to the house rules BEFORE booking. Not suitable for a quiet night of sleep.

Besides to be too far to the old Recife center and further to Olinda, the hostel has some stupids rules, like it is forbidden walking dressing towel, so u have to dress yourself in the bathroom (impossible).

The kitchen is not shared and the reception is complicated, cause u have to let your finger in the bell for 30 minutes until the own wake up to open the door.

The breakfast is good but it goes til 9 o clock, some people prefer to wake up later on their vacations, the air conditioned just works during the night, so 8 the hell start to warm in the bedrooms.

Finally, the own doesn't like foreign people because she can't speak about all her sex life with then (she doesn't speak English or Spanish), this part I think it is worst for brazilians.

The place is beautiful, tidy and clean.
