Hotel Lízarraga

We came by coincidence in this hotel because we had to get our money back from our cancelled TAM flight. The office is like 50m away from this hotel. The hotel is recently taken over and the name is now Lizarraga. Welcomed by a very nice and friendly staff. The staff will do everything what is possible to make your stay memorable. We arrived at 7.30 in the morning, and we were offered a free breakfast as extra! The beds are comfortable enough and warm blankets are offered for cold la Paz nights. Perfect shower, really warm. Soaps and shampoo provided as well. Fast free wifi also in your room. We came back after a week for another night. This time we got a slightly smaller room with smaller bathroom. A lot of noise from the disco next to the hotel. The previous night was during weekday, a far better option. All together this is a very good budget option. Only 160 bs for a double room breakfast included. On walking distance from the busterminal and San Francisco cathedral. Good hotel for a good price. Very friendly staff, expecially the guy that is in the reception day and night! Thumbs up for your service man!
