Missie and her husband are truly the warmest, most wonderful people we met in Bhutan. We originally planned for just one night, but the unexpected connection we felt kept us there for three unforgettable days. While Bhutan can be expensive, the experience at Missie's was worth far more than any price. The bathroom in our room was a delightful surprise – easily the most thoughtfully designed we encountered on our entire trip. It was there that my wife and I truly felt we were experiencing the authentic spirit of Bhutan. Why search for another destination when we had found exactly what we were looking for? After our trek to Tiger's Nest, we indulged in a traditional hot stone bath, which was incredibly relaxing. We felt completely refreshed the next day! Missie's husband is a genuinely funny and charming Bhutanese man, and we loved spending time with their family. If we're ever fortunate enough to return to Bhutan, we will absolutely come back to this peaceful haven and relive the magic
