Location is brilliant for the price, even the hotel next door was much more expensive. We stayed in the studio apartment and it was much bigger than we thought it would be. Cody, Eric's the owners son, was the person who we met first and got our keys from, he couldn't have been more helpful! Gave us a map of Bruges, things to do, tourist traps to stay away from and was always in the bar if we needed anything! So quiet considering it's only a 5 minute walk from the main square!

The wifi is really bad and the studio apartment is right beside the front door which may annoy some people but really it's not too bad at all! Another thing is that they are twin beds and they really can't be used as a double... you will kind of fall through the middle!

Brilliant apartment, best staff, great studio apartment!

Excellent location, near major shopping and attractions, yet in a quiet side street.  Host was very good, providing lots of useful local information. Nice little kitchenette, coffee and coffee maker provided.  Check in was a bit confusing.  I had to call two numbers to get anyone to respond.  But they came quickly when I made contact. 

Excellent studio apartment in convenient, quiet location

I have just returned from staying for a long weekend and would just like to pass my thanks on to Erik. Erik contacted me a few days before arriving to check what time we would get there etc and also helped out with advise on where to eat etc... Unfortunately Erik wasn't working whilst we visited but his team did a great job! 

The room we had was in the loft space and we had two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen lounge area. It was really nice and clean and far more space than what we expected!

The location of the hotel was also really good, within walking distance of pretty much everything.

I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Visit to Lokkedize

If you are looking for somewhere to stay without the frills you shouldn't go passed this self catered accomodation. We had a studio on the ground floor which is ideal for 2. If you are a larger group you will be upstairs....obviously no lift in this ancient house.
Erick and his wife, the owners are really nice and helpful. They live next door and run a restaurant from there. Do yourself a favour and have dinner there one night. We found the food delicious and a change from the usual Belgium fare.
Try and get a taxi from the station as it is difficult to find the first time and try and let Eric know when you will arrive as the restaurant is only open at night. You will have to press the call button by the door to get someone to let you in.
The apartment is close to the Zand and the start of the Main Street. We stayed 6 nights using Bruges as a base to visit Flanders Fields, Ypers, Oostende and Damme.

It's Comfortable and Convenient

We were very happy with this accommodation.  It was nicley furnished with the added benefit of under-floor bathroom heating, beautiful crisp linen on the beds and quality bathroom condiments.  It was in a very convenient location for what we were in Bruges for, and generally nicely located not far from the main square.  Thank you to Erik and his team.
