We stayed here for four nights. We had a lovely room overlooking the lake and mountains and with all the snow it was beautiful!
We stayed half board. The food was traditional and delicious. The service was great, with special recognition to Christian, who was so hospitable and helpful!
The hotel would benefit from a lounge area, however the unused part of the restaurant acted as this.
Overall, a lovely  cosy stay!

Beautiful views and great service

The hotel is highly recommended. The rooms are beautiful, the view from the balcony to the lake is beautiful, and the breakfast buffet is varied. The staff are all very kind and hospitable. We are happy to come back.

A wonderful vacation

The reception is already a warm welcome. Our room was big, the balcony huge. What can I describe, it was just as you want it. The breakfast, inventive and superb. Optimal soft eggs without chance, not many can stand. Egg dishes, as it should be, without egg powder. Cranberries, cherries to uva cheese.

Just come and enjoy.

The room was an attribution. We had done a bike tour and had to spend one night in the hotel. The room (No. 036) is located directly at the reception on the ground floor. From the window we could only see the parked car right in front of the window (we could easily touch the car right in front of our window). All the arriving guests we heard clearly in the closed room. Even the smokers who had been smoking right in front of our window were very uncomfortable. In addition, you could see our room from outside. Our complaint on the day of departure was taken into account. However, it was clear in the conversation that we were not the first to complain. Since the hotel stay as I can manage the room, the room is rented out of a rate.

Unreasonable Rooms

Friendly greeting, beautiful, clean and modern room with balcony, quiet location. There is a garage for bicycles. To my liking, very close spaces at the breakfast buffet as well as illogical arrangement. Examples: jam in the next room around the corner, butter with cheese (also looks like cheese because it is presented as a block on plates).

Quiet location, modern rooms, friendly service

Recently stayed at this hotel for 4 nights with leger Austrian lakes winter wonderland.  Would like exactly to thank the owner and all his staff for a wonderful stay with them . My room was lovely as was the hotel and food was lovely definitely be going back again 

Wonderful hotel and staff

We stayed at the Panorama Hotel Traunstein fro 4 nights from 18th January 2023 travelling on a Leger holiday to the Austrian Lakes.
The family owned and run hotel met all our expectations - very comfortable clean rooms with excellent en-suite facilities.    All the staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient.    Although catering for a group of 27 people they provided good meals with a local flavour including continental breakfasts and 3 course evening dinners.
We would definitely recommend this hotel to tourists in this part of Austria and would happily book to stay there again if  travelling independently

A memorable stay

Lovely hotel good size rooms warm and cosy good food with friendly staff . Room was with a balcony so good views .breakfast buffet style so help yourself there is a place to sit down stairs in the bar and is in walking distance of the town excellent stay 😀

Austrian lakes leger

Just stayed at this hotel over Christmas on a Leger coach tour.   The rooms are clean and spacious and the food was quite nice, despite there being a very limited choice of menu.  Buffet breakfast with boiled and scrambled eggs.   The hotel is situated up a steep hill and there are no other bars, restaurants or shops within walking range, that is if they were open, as it was very quiet being Christmas.

My main concern was that there was no lounge or bar area at the hotel and as soon as dinner was finished around 8.30 pm everything closed down.  Most guests went to their rooms.    I would not recommend this hotel, other than a base for sightseeing and definitely not for celebrating Christmas with friends.  I would also seriously question why Leger would send a coach party to a hotel like this over Christmas .



Christmas in Austria 2022

Super hotel, clean rooms, friendly staff. Very delicious rich breakfast that leaves no wishes. You can walk to the lake in 10 minutes and there are great restaurants and bars.
