Disliked · Lets start with the apartment, not the complex as this would be unfair. We were located at apartment number 53 (it is important to remember this) The apartment (on the fourth floor) was in all honesty totally knackered. It was clear not a $had been spent on it for years. The carpet was dirty, badly wrinkled. The lounge furniture was dated and dirty. The internet/TV refused to work correctly most mornings. The curtains and insect blinds were dirty and stuffed. The bathroom shower leaked so badly from the handset that it could not be used. We did mention this to reception and they fixed it over a 2 day period. Both shower mixer and one bathroom basin tap controls were absolutely buggered so getting the right temperature was tricky. Bath was stained as was the shower tiles. The place was basically filthy with dust everywhere. Kitchen, very limited basic cooking utensils. Dishwasher handle had broken off at some stage so getting into it required two hands pulling open from each side. Microwave was mostly unworkable clearly designed by satan. Hot water jug heavily stained with god knows what. Beds in the spare room were solid as marble and the main bed was okay but small. Wardrobes were dusty and dirty as were the bedroom doors. Whole unit needed a fresh lick of paint and change of colour from the depressing monotone cream/beige. Front door resembled something out of 1980's london council tower block with patches of metal and a generally knackered door lock. Sad but not least the toilet seats were cheap and very nasty with one broken. Seriously the owners must be tighter than 2 coats of dulux to rent unit 53 out. Seriously folks stick well clear of this dump of a unit, it's so bad we didn't invite friends around, Ps, management please share this with the owners. Utterly disgraceful.

Unit 53 is an utter forth floor dump

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen, washing machine, drier, air conditioner, etc and access to a swimming pool and spa. The spa was a little aggressively bubbly (but that just gave us something to laugh about). Steve the manager was lovely. The place was neat and tidy. The lounge a little uncomfortable, but the beds were nice. Great location. Quiet shops just up the road. Gold Coast just down the road.

Fantastic for the price

We booked as a group for a party on the weekend 25/26 February 2022.  Brisbane flooded and one of our rooms couldnt be occupied as it was impossible for guests to travel from the Sunshine Coast in the flood waters.  The Manager (Steve's) response when asked if he would give a CREDIT  (not asking for money back) for another time was "THE WEATHER IS NOT MY PROBLEM".  Wow....sometimes a little empathy is all that is required...especially in a natural disaster.  Other friends booked at another hotel not far away and were given a credit to use anytime in the future.  
The money grab from is place and the down right nasty attitude toward my friends was nothing short of disgusting....NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN !

Unforgiving Manager..DOESN'T CARE ABOUT PEOPLE IN A FLOOD !!!

Stayed here with my daughter last week. Beautiful view of the canal. Very quiet & peaceful. Steve the manager was very nice & helpful. 2 bedroom apartment with all the amenities you need (also ensuited). Will definitely stay here again

Fantastic spot

Beautiful garden and pool right on the waterfront, all amenities are well maintained and looks very well kept.
Handy location to Broadwater and fishing with harbour town outlet shops less than 5 minutes away.
Great manager on site to give you all the info you need for a great family holiday. 
Great price and family friendly.


Fantastic Accomodation

- They charge me $50 extra for cleaning (for 2 night stay) on my departure.
- They expected me to vacuum before leaving the place
- Manager was very unfriendly and rude. He called me "The Worst customer" when I tried to dispute the $50 additional cleaning charge. I did clean the place at a reasonable level. I've stayed at many other places, but never had such a problem
- Manager threatened me saying he will share my personal info with all other accommodations to BLOCK my family's future stay.

DO NOT STAY HERE if you don't want to ruin you holiday !!!

Wonderful place to stay with family.

Good for little children as only a short walk to the water & sand.

Easy to check in & the room very tidy. Yes it is outdated etc. But functional & for the price you cannot argue.

Maintenance could be a little better as we had a couple of bulbs blown.

The kitchen was missing the egg flip (1st world problem) & there could have been more than one packet of powder for the dishwasher. 

Overall no complaints & will certainly stay here again.

Great Location Great Value

We unfortunately were appointed an apartment in desperate need of an update. We are not that fussy but the lounge furniture was old and sticky-ish, the bed old and uncomfortable and without a mattress protector, sheets had ominous stains. I think probably the apartments are all quite different and we happened to luck out despite paying a relatively decent rate. The kitchen pans as good as useless and bread boards etc unhygienic. Much better value elsewhere. Pros for us was location, but this is not somewhere I would stay again. The owner of the apartment we were in needs to update the lounge suite and beds etc or ruin it for other owners.  Sorry, but just a bit grotty for the price!
