I’m sorry, but whilst clean this place needs a bulldozer. 1960’s if that and I am surprised an old place like this still exists. It was a busy weekend but we paid a crazy price for what is really a dump. Don’t!!

Location was perfect. 
Walking distance to some lovely restaurants and nice shops. Our room had all we needed for our short stay in Noosa. Only downfall I would say is the internet 
The gentleman maintains the grounds was very polite and friendly. 
Reception lady was friendly as well. If your looking to pay sensible rates just to lay your head at night then I would recommend Regency Waterfront

Sensible Rates

Regency Waterfront motel is in a great location.  Set on a great park with easy access to the pedestrian/bike path.  The room was very comfortable and clean.   The bed was very comfortable.  The lady at Reception was very friendly and helpful.

Our room was neat but we were dissatisfied with the crockery was not clean, 2 discoloured face towels provided with bleach stains, when asked for a small shampoo, we were told they only provide 2 soaps, we find this appalling. A chair provided was all torn.Never again

Holiday

When writing reviews you need to keep perspective. In life you generally get what you pay for. A 3-star tariff can't be expected to deliver 5-star accommodation and according to my tour director (wife) the tariff at the Regency Waterfront is very reasonable.

Location, location, location and the Regency can boast of a good location. Fronted by a large park, with views of the Noosa River and within a 100M to the Yacht Club and the start of the riverside walk. Not in your restaurant strip but within easy walking distance.

The apartments are small, a bit old fashioned but remarkably functional within the confined space, with a small patio overlooking the park and river and lots of path activity to keep you amused. The bathroom was adequate with nice towels and plenty of hot water. The kitchen was small but functional with microwave, oven and large fridge. All the other kitchen items you might want except perhaps a dishwasher. Lounge and dining areas were again, you guessed it, small but workable and the TV on the wheel-based unit, for bed and lounge watching was a clever touch.

So in summary, great location, reasonable price, small but functional, bit old fashioned. Any negatives - the WiFi was virtually unusable, even for simple e-mail, which is a bit inexcusable in these socially connected times.

This was a fantastic find. Cheap for the location. Outside looks old and crappy but once inside the rooms have been updated. Beds were lovely and comfortable and everything was very clean. Back yard looked over a park and the river. Have a balcony to sit outside on. Downstairs there are outdoor settings and a BBQ area. Cannot recommend this place high enough.

Great  location, easy to walk yo restaurants etc.
Owners very helpful  and easy to talk to.
Room was lovely, views over water, excellent bedding, very clean, and loved the separate toilet.
Would  love to stay again.

Christmas time in Noosa

Good old-fashioned five star accommodation at three star prices. Unpretentious, operated by veteran owners who know how to satisfy. On the waterfront with river views from all suites, close to Woolworths and Uncle Dan's and all the good food spots. I just keep coming back.

A rare gem amongst a bag of glitz.

We only stayed here one night and it was only by chance but it is a place we could have stayed for a week. The room over looks the Noosa river and as we were up stairs we had a great view from the balcony. The room had a seperate bath and shower which is great to find a place with a bath, the main room has the bed and kitchen of to the side and a good size lounge. The kitchen is well equiped so you do not need to have takeaway unless you want. It is great value for money. We will be back.

Great for the price

The staff are very friendly, the rooms are clean and nice. All basic facilities, sufficient for what we needed. Has a swimming pool too which we would have used if the weather were better during our stay - will consider again for our next stay
