A wonderful place to unwind and return to nature.Stroll the lake's shoreline and listen to the calls of a variety of birds.
Welcoming hosts and rooms are clean and comfortable. Will be certainly visiting again.

Excellent self-catering room, overlooking a magical lake about 10 km from Milton. It is a version of paradise and a real gem of a find. So beautifully peaceful and serenely quiet, hidden in bushland. Several kangaroos and magnificent birdlife complement the whole scene.

Nice and relaxing. Lots of nature around and a good place to unwind.

We stayed last night at Lakeshore Lodge and really enjoyed our visit. The self catering unit was clean and comfortable and the location among the lake side trees was very peaceful. Our host was welcoming.

Our brief stay at Lakeshore Lodge was well worth negotiating the stretch of unsealed drive off Tallowood Rd. The room was very comfortable. We enjoyed a morning walk in the forest and by the lake seeing the birds and talking to Paul who with Ann has developed a unique place to enjoy this beautiful area.

Super clean and serenely quiet. Anne was very helpful and has an excellent knowledge of the surrounding areas. Ulladulla, Mollymook and Milton are all within a short driving distance. The company was also ok ;)

Perfect getaway from civilisation

I really want to write that Lakeshore Lodge is a terrible place because then I could have this fantastic place all to myself whenever I go there, but in keeping with the spirit of TripAdvisor I'll be honest and say that Lakeshore Lodge is absolutely awesome.  

It is situated in a secluded part of Burrill Lake frontage, perched by the water on over 125 acres of natural bushland. The lodge consists of a couple of 2br and 1br apartments on the groumd floor, with the owners living on the upper level of the building.  They are always onsite in case you need anything.  Paul and Anne are very friendly and it's always a pleasure to have a chat with them.  

There is an abundance of wildlife on the property but thankfully I didn't encounter and snakes!

Whilst it is true that you can only access the property via a 1km dirt road, it is graded and perfectly suitable for 2wd vehicles. 

It is so peaceful and tranquil. It is so nice to wake up to a symphony of birds calling out to the morning. 

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. I stayed in a 2br apartment and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. Be sure to bring all the food, drink and other supplies you need with you.  There is also a Coles in Ulladulla if you forget anything. 

The only thing I wished the property had was a gazebo to sit out in and have a drink or play a game of cards and be sheltered from the rain or sun - although not having this feature did not put any dampener on my stay there. 

I highly recommend staying here. 

P.S. a big shout out to host/owner Paul for giving me a jump start when my battery decided to pack it in as I was about to leave.  

Hidden Gem in Paradise! 

Great Lake side location. The property is well located to Milton. The breakfast recommendations were bang on! We really enjoyed our stay!

Owners were very friendly and informative with knowledge of the local area,The 2km rocky dirt driveway was not a welcoming sight and caused one of our tyres to go flat but did however help our 4 month old baby girl sleep lolAll in all it was a relaxing place that was away from all the noise of other people and city life.

A peaceful pace

I'm booking hotels last 12 years through WOTIF , but never had a terrible experience like this one.The owners are quiet picky & so much worried about water and electricity uses they even knocked our door couple of times to tell us what we should do.No soaps or minimum towels provided, the mattress  are pretty old we couldn't even sleep properly. The unsealed road to the cottage was very bad & will  have a flat Tyre any time. Families with kids should avoid this property.WOTIF should not include this sort of properties to the list....sorry to say that.
