Horrific, disgusting, dirty place. Would not stay there ever again. We booked 2 nights and after first we left. This is not even one star place. Please avoid as the cleaning standards there are horrendous. Also forget about the wifi- apparently it dosent work because of the clouds 🤣 

AVOID!!!!!

Stayed here as it was the only property available for a short stay in Narooma. I wouldn't personally go back, but that's because it was a little more rustic than I was expecting (it's called a motel but not the standard of other motels I've stayed at in Australia; this is clearly more of a YHA that attempted to convert some rooms to attract non-YHA guests). So if you stay expecting more of a hostel experience, you won't be disappointed. 

The rooms were small and old, but at least had a fairly modern aircon unit. The bathrooms are *exceptionally* tiny; the small sidewalk-sized patio area outside of the unit is bigger by comparison. The bed linens were thankfully clean, but the curtains and carpets were quite musty and stained. There is minimal tabletop space to store your luggage/other items, so I would suggest bringing something easily accessible like a storage tub to set on top of a table and take thins in and out of. 

The doors don't seal particularly well and the bathroom windows don't close, so be aware it can get quite cold in the night and that critters may come in.  And you'll hear a lot of outside noise accordingly.

All in all, it's a place to sleep, but not much more than that. 

Extremely basic, but you get what you pay for

This motel is conveniently located on the highway, just on the edge of town, and the suite was clean, if a little crowded.  I liked the separation of bedroom from kitchen area, but the TV was on the wall in the bedroom, which left nowhere other than the bed for watching TV.  

The bathroom was a little crowded, and there were no toiletries provided (lucky that I always carry some just in case).

Compared to some others, I think it is a little overpriced, but not too bad.

Convenient and clean

Reception is unfriendly, like you"re a nuisance or something!  Courtesy costs  nothing! I won't be staying here again! It was almost an effort to talk to me or look up my booking details. The dollar price is right but being made to feel unwelcome is not a price I'm.willing to pay.

Unfriendly reception at Narooma Motel!

Everything was fabulous and the hosts Kerrie and Bill are the most beautiful and genuine people you will ever meet. The property is in a peaceful location and very close to the Narooma shopping precinct. We are already planning our next trip to Narooma.

What a gorgeous little place to stay in Narooma. Rooms were lovely and the staff were so friendly. They were really informative about the area and good places to go see that we would of missed out on if we didn’t go. We got to see seals and bull stingrays at the places they recommended. Thanks guys what welcoming staff. Very impressed.

Amazing Staff

Narooma Motel is a great place to stay when in Narooma. The rooms are comfortable and it is close to shops and beaches. It is great value for money and I would recommend it to all! I look forward to returning on our next trip to Narooma.

Great stay

If you are looking for good value and great service, this is it. Les and Heather are quite attentive and lovely. They are very helpful. Rooms are simple and clean. There is a comfy communal lounge room and a BBQ. Great place to stay.

Cheap and Cheerful. Great Service

Glen and I stayed at narooma motel for a month .. The owners Heather and Les greeted us at the door showed us to our room ...which I rate 20/20 perfectly..  Affordable prices .. clean room ..  Comforable bed  Plus we were given clean towels and bed sheets were change for us  daily ...rooms were clean daily .. They shown  us areas we were able to have a  bbq at nite ..and if we wanted cook our dinner in large kitchen area .. everything was supplied in the kitchen area for quest to use ... Signs showing quest lounge area and areas we could go too .. Waking up to the sound of birds singing was a comfort to hear ... we had everything we need the comfort of home after looking at other motels this is the best .. If we could we would rate this motel 100/100 it's worth that rating for sure ... We will return again and tell our friends and family .. Thank you Heather and Les for your hospitality we felt very welcome

We arrived in Narooma and needed accommodation.  We were turned away from one motel as we only required one night.  We arrived at Narooma Motel at 7pm and were welcomed with open arms by Les and Heather.  Our accommodation was spacious with a fridge in both rooms and immaculately clean.  The communal kitchen was clean and well equipped.  The owners were very hospitable and enthusiastic and knowledgeable about Narooma.
