Hotel Riviera

We got here unplanned as we were supposed to stay in Dhermi but the host there was rude to us and tried to make us pay more. So after some research we ended up choosing Riviera and we are glad to have done so. Margarita and her mother are very friendly and helpful hosts. The rooms are clean and we had a great view of the sea in front. We could eat breakfast on the terrace in front of our room and that was definitely a plus. The breakfast is good and the pies and jam made by Margarita’s mom are really good. However what I liked most was that 2 nights ago, during a big storm in Himara that interrupted electricity all over the town, Margarita came by each and every room to make sure everyone is ok and also brought candles so we would have light. It was the biggest storm we ever experienced so we highly appreciate what she did. When staying at Riviera the only thing you need to make sure is your car is well equipped for bumpy roads as it’s not that easy to get there. All in all it was a very pleasant experience and we thank Margarita and her mom for their hospitality.
