3 reviewsMe and my husband stayed at Hotel Shpella for three nights, and couldn’t be more happy with our stay. I was a little worried as we approached the structure, as the hotel is a little distant from the centre and does not look like your standard accommodation. But let me tell you, I was SURPRISED!! The couple owning the place does not speak english super well, but nothing good old google translate won’t fix. We had booked a room with a balcony, but were initially given a room without. When we brought that up to the owner, he made sure to get the right room ready within 15 minutes of our arrival. The rooms have AC, which is an absolute MUST as Albania in June is as hot as a steam room at your average spa, beds are comfy, and the balcony was indeed a great choice. As if this wasn’t enough to convince you, we got a home-cooked breakfast every morning, which we didn’t even pay for in the first place. These are the businesses to support. Go, go, go!
