My family and I  had a very terrible experience with this Thanh Thanh hotel at 95A , tran phu , Nha Trang. The lady receptionist and all staff members were rude, mean, and unprofessional. We checked in to this hotel on Thursday night. We planned to stay over the weekend and checked out on Monday. However, the room was small and was not clean so we decided to move to the other hotel. Because we checked out after one night, the staff was mad and rude to us. They shut down the elevator and did not let us use the elevator. My family members and I had to carry our luggages from 4 floor to the ground floor by stairs. That was the nightmare experience in my life. We visited Nha Trang in 8/2011 and picked this hotel because it closes to the beach. Perhaps, You guys are wondering why I did not review earlier since my visit was 8/2011. In 2011, internet review was not popular. I hope the owner changes 2011 staff members. I think that Is impossible because maybe one the staff was the owner. Never book this hotel again 😡😡😡😡

Went there to eat. Very hot inside. No a/c or ventilator. Very expensive for vietnam standard. Food was too oily and salty. Waiter did a favour to work. Service was very weak.unfortunately very disappointed.

Very bad restaurant

Stayed at this hotel in November for a week , turned up at reception and got a room with 2 double beds overlooking the ocean for 15 dollars us if I stayed more than 3 nights,bargain,walking distance to the nightlife,clean,safe,happy days

For the price and location,best hotel I have ever stayed

If you are looking for a place where the noise of traffic or the lights from the street  can keep you awake or if you need a dose of penicillin from the mould infested bathrooms and you like to be kept physically fit by climbing flights of stairs to your room with your luggage then look no further.  

Overall the hotel is in a prime location but it is on the busiest street in Nha Trang.  

The rooms are of an average size but are overfurnished. 

The sea view rooms have a gorgeous uninterupted view of the ocean but the noise of traffic and the street lighting keeps you awake giving you an opportunity to catch the stunning Sunrise.  

Initially the staff of the hotel were quite rude but the following day when we requested to be moved to another room were very helpful and prompt.

There are Cheaper and Better

This typical Vietnamese Mini-Hotel will appeal to those looking for cheap, clean, safe accomodation at a budget price. Located on Tran Phu Street along the waterfront, this hotel is centrally located in the middle of Nha Trang Beach and provides comfortable, strictly no frills rooms, with seaview rooms going for a 10% premium. All prices are by the room, not per person, and you should feel free to try to negotiate a cheaper rate. At the time of our stay, we had four sharing two double beds with a seaview room at 400,000 dong and three in a similar set-up in the (windowless) back of the hotel paying 350,000 dong. (about US$22.) This hotel has no elevator, no parking, and no meals. The bathrooms are clean if spartan, and well tiled, with 2 soaps, 2 terrycloth hand towels, no shampoo or other extras, toilet paper, a toilet, sink, and shower (no tub). The rooms feature two double beds, covered with fresh bedsheet-mattress cover, and pillows and a blanket is provided but it traditional Vietnamese fashion, no top sheet is provided though they are available on request. Sheets and towels are not changed during your stay unless you request. Rooms have good airconditioning operated by hand held remote. There is also a mini-fridge, and TV with remote provided a limited selection of channels, but with good reception. A slice above backpacker accomodation, fussy travellers will be best advised to look elsewhere. For those whose needs are limited to quiet, safe accomodation, clean rooms, good hot water and airconditioning, and perhaps an unobstructed view of the sea, one could do much worse than the Thanh thanh Hotel while staying in Nha Trang. 
Note that while you will have excellent access to the waterfront, the beach at Nha Trang is very long and you would need hours to walk the full length. The Cham site, and port for cruising to the off-shore islands are too far to walk to from this hotel. However, the street is lively, eating options of every scale from street vendor to fancy restaurant abound, and one or two blocks in from the seafront does provide you with a true Vietnamese shopping experience. Be prepared for the hawkers eager to sell you anything and everything but they are pleasant as hawkers go and a smile and polite "no, thank-you" are all you will need. Take some time to get to know the regulars and you may have a truly authentic cultural experience. There are many places in Vietnam that offer far more than Nha Trang but the city is gearing for tourism and has something to offer to those new to the Vietnamese culture and experience.
