Unfortunately this place didn’t meet expectations. We were not given the room that we had paid for and we got given a much worse replacement. Firstly the bed wasn’t too comfortable. There was only 1 charging socket half way across the room. The fridge smelled. The air con leaked into the bathroom which meant the floor was always wet. The window was always open (couldn’t close it) which led to noisy mornings and mozzy bites. A few stains on the walls too.
However the staff at the counter were lovely! at the end of the day it wasn’t too expensive so you get what you pay for, just nothing like the photos.

Nothing like the photos

The location is very advantage. 5 min walking to the beach,  local restaurant nearby and more. Price is reasonable and staffs are very friendly, they take care me a lot. Tours and other services are also good and interesting.

Very excellent

The hotel was clean and situated centrally. Food was steps away and the beach was steps away.
The one small issue with the hotel was the Breakfast food. It wasn't cooked enough and have a little bit Western Breakfast. By the way, everything is alright. Staff are very kind and helpful. In addition,  when we've come, it is really surprising for a room upgrade that a high floor room and the view was fantastic. Last but not least, I would recommend it to everyone. Really love place to stay.

Alibaba hotel

Very cheap hotel in Danang. Specially, out of summer in Vietnam. Not mention to facility in side, it is not luxury, it is 2 star hotel. From hotel to beach is close. Just walk 2 mins. This hotel is suitable to family, friends, group.

Budget hotel, good location

During my recent visits to DaNang I have been staying at the Jimmy Hotel.
During those visits my stay has been comfortable and relaxing.
I recently stayed there again.
Well a few things have changed and not for the better. First of all, if it's WiFi you are looking for and need, you will only find it in the lobby. The equipment to disperse WiFi signal to all floors has been removed.
The Jimmy also used to provide a very simple, 4 item menu prepared in the hotel. This service not longer exists. Out of 6 light switches in my room(I always stay in the front VIP rooms), only three work. Lighting is very limited in rooms.
The staff is still quite friendly and will help you with your needs or provide information but the service and condition of the Jimmy Hotel has really gone downhill.
I will be returning to DaNang again in early 2017 but I will definitely not be staying at the Jimmy. There are many hotels in the same neighbourhood that provide ALL your needs.

Jimmy Hotel

We arrived at Jimmy Hotel at 11.45pm and the member of staff could not seem to find our booking. After showing our conformation he then checked us into a room. We were given no information about breakfast which was included in the price or any additional information about the hotel. 

When we arrived in the room, we were pleasantly surprised with its large size, great view and large bed. However on closer inspection we found the room was of poor standard with a leak in the bathroom, dirty bed sheets, bin filled from last guest (including a used happy) and very poor wifi. As it was late at night and we had travelled all day we decided to sleep rather than contact reception. 

In the morning we received a phone call to tell us that we had been put into the VIP room as our superior room was not ready when we arrived the night before. We switched rooms as we didn't want to pay an extra $5 a night. The cheaper superior room was much better! Whilst the room and bed was smaller, the bathroom had a shower, the room was clean, excellent wifi. 

We then discussed with the manager about breakfast which we were told in our booking was included but he was not keen to offer this service to us. Finally he agreed to allow us to have breakfast between 6.30-9am, which we felt was a very early time to finish. 

We asked the hotel for some advice on how to travel to Hoi An and he told us the public bus is very slow and he could book us into a tour bus which would be significantly quicker. We paid 120k dong each, which we later discovered is sold directly from the tour company for only 70k. We expected the hotel to make some commission but not that much per ticket. 

Overall, the stay at the hotel was poor. We certainly would have not called our first room "VIP" and not worth the price the hotel charges. The superior room was much better and met our needs. There are plenty of hotels in Danang so check those out first! 

Bad service 

My company had a trip in Danang few weeks ago. We had a great trip unless the time stayed in this hotel (Jimmy Hotel).
We planed to stay here for 2 nights. The 1st night was OK. The next morning we went to Linh Ung Pagoda and some other places until late noon. And when we came back, some suitcases in some rooms were rummaged. some money left in a handbag were stolen. (The hotel cleaners came in rooms without asking us and stole things.)
We mentioned this to hotel manager and he had no response.
Of course, the hotel cleaners did not admit this.
They told us to call police, that's all!
We moved to another hotel after that.

Bad service - poor responsibilities..

Seemed nice, but then they mixed up the prices and suddenly they were screaming (really really loud, bizar!) at 8 am in the early morning and knocking on the door that we have to leave this morning, while we booked for 2 nights. Apparently they made a overbooking and other customers were waiting downstairs. The night before the girl already put us in a 2 person instead of triple room, so one guy had to sleep on the ground. But thats not all: they also didnt served breakfast (because they had more guests than expected..) and while we already paid 10 dollar in advance, they charged us for the complete amount. Although we showed us the mail and creditcard details, she said that is was the wrong hostel, since it has a different phonenumber (yeah right, while the address and name was right...)
A really bad experience and hated the fact that she kept screaming in our face! Rude and stupid.
