We booked this place a few hours before our arrival. The hosts (Mercedes and Raphael) were extremely pleasant and welcoming. Both have a very calm demeanor, speak great English and spent the time to cater to our needs, chat with us, tell us about the city and offer useful advice. It was such a pleasure to spend the time with them. There is a range of rooms, and we stayed in one that was beautiful : air-conditioned, spacious, with the private bathroom and it's own entrance. We also parked within the property. The neighborhood is calm and upscale, although it is about a 20 minute drive from Montevideo proper (I would be cautious about staying here if you rely on city transport). Overall, this is a great place to relax and recuperate after exploring the city.
