WOMEN BE MINDFUL OF SECURITY VIOLATIONS AND CONCERNS if you choose to stay at "Apartments at City Center"

Location of the Apartments at City Center is Nice, but not very safe.  Below are a few concerns i have about this place.  

1. SECURITY CONCERNS:  Despite multiple requests to have staff NOT ENTER my apartment without me there and to call me before... they still let themselves in.  The maintenance staff continues to just do what they want when they want.   My requests were communicated but IGNORED not once not twice but four times (today, July 20, 2023 being final straw).  Management of this building has been notified on numerous occasions, but the disrespect continues to happen.  Today, when requested to discuss this matter with upper management, they delayed and didn't take matter serious tasking the receptionist to mediate the situation.  My company is paying for this unit while I'm here on official assignment.  I must report this security violation as it's not beneficial for us to stay in a place that can't comprehend simple directives.  Furthermore,  doors don't have a second lock to prevent anyone from walking in whenever they feel like it... this was the second incident I had.  Maintenance man knocked barely then let himself in w a key while I was in apartment not fully dressed so I yelled for him to get out and reported the incident.  Of course, he let himself in at a later time for a different matter on a different occasion, not notifying me or calling me beforehand.  

2.  CLEANLINESS OF BUILDING:   Cleaning staff is a bit mediocre because notice same dust on equipment base in gym for weeks and stains on glass throughout building so makes me wonder how efficient the cleaners are.  

3.  See Photos for proof of exchange... multiple corporate housing companies rent out at this location, so please be mindful of setup if you choose to stay there as an official.

Security Concerns

We had a great experience here, we went to Washington DC as Indian Family with 2 Kids in the Month of March 2020 and then we have had STAY HOME instruction, we actually enjoyed STAY HOME experience here with great support from staff and facility and it has a an great kitchen with all required amenities that helped us to cook food of our choice and having Halal meats and Asian Groceries around the places that we could get, 

The location is amazing and very close to WHITE HOUSE, CAPTIAL etc and we can just walk down.

we enjoyed this place a lot. full kitchen and a washer and dryer. with two kids who prefer their own beds it was nice to have a sofa bed. it was also nice on how secure the complex is. parking was also available at the complex and more affordable than some of the hotels.

Modern, spacious & complete with all amenities that you could ask for within the unit. Walking distance from the White House, The Mall and trendy eating spots! Probably the best value for an executive style suite that you will find in all of Washington. We thoroughly enjoyed this unit and will come back to stay here again. This is a condo unit that you could also easily live in.

Large Executive Apartment Suite Close to Everything

If you are looking to find a place to stay that is a great value and great location, this is a great place to stay! Our family of five fit comfortably in the two bed two bath apartment. Up to date, nice furnishings with free wi-fi. Centrally located to everything. Walking distance to Fords Theatre, metro, china town, two of the smithsonian museums and the White House. The unit was very clean, plenty of towels and even had detergent for the washing machines ready to go. We would definitely stay here again! 

Washington DC Summer Vacation

the staff in the building very nice.  the apartment needs attention to details.  when we arrived there was a very strong fish and dog smell in the appartment.  we bought lysol and refreshed the apartment. after abbout 2 days the smell of fish had deminished but the dog smell was still there.  you have to pay parking is about $25 per day, a bit high. the apartment has 2 bedrooms and 2 bath, washer and dryer, very convenient. great view to shops and restaurant from the appartment great space.
