Every issue we had like delayed flights, which caused us to arrive very late and billing issues with the third party booking sight (none of which were the fault of the lodge) were resolved by Carol, who owns and operates the lodge. It was like having your own personal concierge available to assist you with every need while staying at the Alaskan Wish Lodge. During this challenging travel time of Covid-19 it was so refreshing to experience such great customer service.  On our trip the rules changed daily and no previous information necessarily applied to anything that you were attempting to accomplish that day, we always had someone who was there to answer any questions we had about any problems that arose. The Alaskan Wish Lodge team went above and beyond to make our stay relaxing and stress free.

Very accommodating

Our unit on lower level far right of building was very, clean, had loads of clean towels for kitchen and bath and a great full kitchen so we could have some meals in.  It has beds for up to 7.  Queen and twin in upstairs room, queen in curtained off “room” and a twin in living room with a twin pull out trundle below.  The beds were very firm.  Pillows rather hard and flat.  Great blackout shades for light control at night.  One struggle was having one bathroom.  I know, first world problem.  We only had 4, when I booked it I thought we would have 6.  Being downstairs you are at the mercy of the people above you.  They were up by 6 every day with an hour of moving about, thumping and bumping.  Therefore we were as well.  There are no walls or doors to any bedroom, just curtains for one downstairs.  Upstairs bedroom has no door, but is separated by a different level.  Great location and access to Resurrection Bay, trails, restaurants and shops.  Off street parking and has a spotless grill for use outside and all the utensils, just buy charcoal and you are set!

Nice  place...

We spent two nights in the two bedroom apartment. It was perfect for four friends. Carroll is a thoughtful hostess who seems to have anticipated exactly the needs of her guests. The apartment is decorated simply, yet tastefully and is impeccably clean. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for all of us to stretch out and relax. It's located in a quiet residential neighborhood; an easy walk to shops and restaurants. There's a laundromat across the street. We all agreed that this was our favorite stay during our two week trip in Alaska.

Absolutely loved it!

We stayed at this apartment with our son and his family, a total of six people.  We were very comfortable.  Close to everything in town, including the shuttle stop.  We were within walking distance to shops and restaurants.   

We came in to Seward on a bus and transferred to the free shuttle once we were dropped off in Seward.  The free shuttle had a stop just a half a block away from the apartment.  We stayed in this apartment the day before boarding our ship for our Alaskan cruise.  It was an easy walk to the apartment from the shuttle stop.  

The apartment was clean and well appointed.  We appreciated the Keurig with lots of coffee and tea options!  We did not cook in the apartment, but the kitchen was spacious and would have been a great place to make a meal.

Another plus was the laundromat located across the street from the apartment.  We washed up our clothes the morning we were to board our ship.  One tip is to get there early when the laundromat opens (at 8:00 a.m.) as it got busy and was quite small.

Great Family Accommodations!

Handy location, great host, clean & tidy. The host was very friendly, warm and helpful, she helped us get the laundry done without charging us. 
There are too much clutters in the room which are not necessary to be there

A great hotel at a great location

My family and I stayed at the Alaska Wish Lodging in Seward. It was by far my favorite apartment of all my rentals in AK. We had the loft unit which included a divided sleeping space with a King bed downstairs and a curtained loft space with a queen and a twin upstairs. All the beds were plush with lots of cozy blankets. The living space and kitchen were huge and beautifully decorated. Additionally, there's some nice seating in the front yard to enjoy the outdoors. There was plenty of space for us to stretch out and find some quiet space after a 2-week trip. Caroll was an amazing host. She provided excellent directions to the location and great restaurant recommendations. It's clear she put a lot of heart and artistic touches to the place. Every time we looked for something (i.e. laundry basket,kitchen supplies), it was available. Of note, a laundromat is available across the street. You can pay to have laundry picked up and redelivered to you, but it takes planning a day in advanced. I found it much easier to go there and do laundry myself, walking back to the apartment during wash/dry cycles. Also, for people who need walls between bedrooms, this is a loft. Sleeping spaces are creatively divided with book cases and curtains for privacy, but other than the bathroom, there are no walls to close off spaces. Thanks for a wonderful stay!!!
