We had a great stay at the Carousel Beach Inn. It was clean, comfy, close, friendly,  and it felt safe. All good things when choosing a place to stay in a town you don't know.

Great location,  great place!

Room was great, clean.  Could use more hooks to hang up towels.  There wasn't one.  Noise at 7am, carpet cleaners.   But overall I would recommend this place. 

Great Location

The Carousel has everything you want or need for your vacation. No complaints at all. The location was perfect as i am disabled and it is so close to the boardwalk

Super easy to check in and stay, good breakfast, friendly staff, easy parking, quiet room, coffee available 24 hours downstairs, fast wifi, TV cable with large screen, fast elevator, entrance is private, not through a lobby

Great location

The Carousel Inn is a favorite place for our family when visiting Santa Cruz. The location to the Boardwalk is second to none, the secure access to the rooms, and continental breakfast's are all contributing factors to us staying here versus the many run of the mill places to stay around the Boardwalk! The beds could be a little more comfortable but that’s anywhere you stay that’s not your own bed.

Thanksgiving weekend getaway!

Great location. Straight shoot to boardwalk, didn't have to park anywhere crazy. Everything we needed was right there. We spent time on the beach, arcade, and delicious food everywhere we went. Returning 

The perfect quick getaway..!

We spent a couple nights at the Carousel Beach Inn and Santa Cruz specifically to decompress after a couple of emotionally challenging weeks.  We chose it for the great reviews and fantastic location to the boardwalk.  We were surprised it was so economical mid-week for the location!  The Carousel was perfect for us for our purposes.  I'd like to specifically mention the attention to cleanliness at this hotel and the comfort of the bed.  We were very very pleased and hope to be back again! 

Romantic Weekend to Decompress

For the money, this hotel was a great option for visiting the boardwalk. Clean, basic, located steps away from the boardwalk, pleasant staff. Even had continental breakfast which was very basic but honestly, would suffice

Value perfect

Best location for the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.  Great for toddlers who need diaper changes and/or naps.  Walkable to the Santa Cruz Wharf for food & drinks.  I've stayed here twice this year, and each time, each staff member is super friendly, professional, and knowledgeable.  They provide private parking (you can park before you check in and all day after check out).  The rooms are a little smaller, dated, and the bedding is slightly uncomfortable - my wife brings her own pillow.  Overall, highly recommended for families visiting the Boardwalk & Wharf.

Convenient Location

First time here perfect from checking in to checking out. Very clean and organized Only thing I couldn’t figure out how to turn on the heater haha I was very cold on Nov 26 but overall great experience
