We found the Raz Inn under B&B's in Trip Advisor.  The don't offer breakfast anymore, which is clear from the reviews so we didn't expect it.  Erin and Russ couldn't have made the experience easier or made us more comfortable.  Booking was easy.  They answered questions immediately.  There were two of us and since we were visiting a friend in Phoenix we just wanted a clean and comfortable place to sleep.  We had a completely furnished one bedroom duplex with a full kitchen instead.  The Raz Inn is not fancy.  That said, they do an excellent job with what counts.  The bed was comfortable, the bath products excellent, the towels big and soft, and the facility was clean and welcoming.  The unit was decorated in an eclectic and very appealing style. We did not have time to use the pool during our stay but it looked very inviting.  Both Erin and Russ contacted us via text before our stay to send us photos of the access gate and our front door with the codes to each.  That made check-in a breeze.  There were no keys to worry about.  The Inn is located in a very nice old neighborhood with lots of trees and is extremely quiet.  Russ checked us in with an electronic payment and the business part of our stay was done.  We would stay there again in a heartbeat and recommend it with enthusiasm.  The price was amazingly reasonable as well.

A gem!

The Raz Inn, located in uptown Phoenix is the ideal family getaway for Spring Training or any other family event in the greater Phoenix area. It is centrally located in a quiet neighborhood. You will enjoy a spacious living and dining area with kitchen, large bedroom, walk-in closet, and private bath. The outside patio is ideal for lounging and the pool is inviting. The fire pit is also conducive for after-dinner conversion. All in all, if you are looking for a great family getaway in a quiet and serene environment, then look no further than the Raz Inn!

Spring Training Getaway 

GREAT value! Basically we had a full private bungalow for under $100/night. Full kitchen, large living room with large TV, wonderful soft supportive bed, small bathroom (no tub) but everything a person needs! Furnishings are very comfortable, quality pieces with an eclectic flair. We didn't get in the pool (temps were very cool during our week) but it looked wonderful, well maintained and clean. Wonderful patio area with multiple seating areas & beautiful palm trees and other plants - choose sunny or shaded, lounge chairs & even tables for outdoor eating. The owners have 2 cute "hotel cats" that we saw around the property. We are definitely cat people so it was fun to see and visit them a little bit. They won't bother you if you don't want them to. The neighborhood is quiet, centrally located and only a block from a light rail station as well as main roads going both E-W and N-S. Multiple restaurant, grocery & boutique shopping within just a block or two. All 4 units are inside a locked security gate. You might hear traffic when outside, but inside our unit was always blissfully quiet. Raz Inn was like a beautiful quiet oasis in the middle of Phoenix. We'd love to be back soon!

There was no hot tub when we were there - there's a place for it (above ground) but I think it was being replaced. Something to check on if that's important to you. Some older reviews mention that breakfast used to be provided but we did not expect this and it was not offered to us. We prefer to take care of ourselves & the full kitchen w/coffeemaker was perfect for us. There is no "office" on the property, so upon arrival the process of checking in was done over the phone. We called the manager Russ, got the code for the gate & unit but had to wait a little while for him anyway. He was very kind and helpful but I found the process to be confusing - there could be names or numbers on the units so you know you're trying to get in the right one.

Comfortable private oasis in Phoenix!

We just recently got back from visiting Phoenix for a soccer tournament and we stayed at the Raz Inn for 3 nights. This place is great! Way better than a small hotel room. We stayed in the one bedroom suite, and it was plenty of room for my husband, son and I. It had a spacious living room, kitchen and bedroom and also a washer in the bathroom to wash my son's uniforms! In addition there was also internet tv, meaning we had access to tons of current movies and shows! They also provided a coffee maker with coffee, detergent, dishes, super comfortable bath towels and anything else we could have needed. The owner was very nice an made sure everything was great with us. Would recommend and stay here again in a heartbeat! 

Wonderful stay!!

We stayed in the Pasadena villa for 2 weeks. It has a full kitchen and large living room and bedroom. Having onsite laundry was a big plus for us during our stay. It's quite private and very cozy. The owners were very accommodating, even giving us a bag of
the wonderful grapefruit from their tree. We loved the location, just a block off Camelback, close to light rail, restaurants and grocery store. We will definately return to this B & B on our next trip to Phoenix.
