Listen, I am high maintenance and I loved this place.  Lisa, the lady at the desk, was super kind and knowledgeable.   The room was clean and very comfortable.  The bed was amazing (and I’m ultra picky) and I loved the addition of the fireplace.  The balcony was great.  Breakfast had variety, was high quality, and tasted great.  Wasn’t able to take advantage of happy hour, but wine was available downstairs for us to sip in the comfort of our room.  Dolphins and deer were seen from the dining room.  Very relaxing and quiet area.  It is about 1.5 miles from town if you don’t have a car.  We enjoyed walking to town along the beach. If you want to hole up, just bring some food/snacks with you!  Great place for couples to get away and relax! I hope to come back soon, especially since we missed one of our nights here due to airline issues.

Relaxing and quaint

Beautiful surroundings, luxurious accommodations, every need met, convenient location, friendly, responsive staff, lots of extras.

We had such a nice stay at Regatta Inn! The atmosphere was very familiar and welcoming, the room was clean and nice. Service was so good, personal and generous! We enjoyed a beautiful sunset together with other guests on the terrace and later we could just grab a bike and go for dinner somewhere close by. In the morning we just used the bike to the other side of the island to view the sunrise before we enjoyed a homemade, really tasty breakfast! We just loved staying at Regatta Inn! The most personal and beautiful place to stay at!

Fantastic!

We entered stressed and burdened, we left refreshed and relaxed. Beautiful room facing the inland waterway with luxurious accommodations, rode their complimentary bikes the short ride to the park and beach access, took their complimentary chairs, towels and umbrella to the pier and lighthouse, enjoyed a hot delicious breakfast every morning, a lovely cocktail hour and gorgeous sunset every night, and excellent recommendations from the staff for dinner. Napped on our private deck in our snuggly house robes as birds, dolphins, sailboats, and gentle breezes eased by. When our room had an issue, it was fixed before we returned from our day's excursion. The town is safe, charming, and not far from must-see landmarks in Charleston and surrounding areas.  I'm told they are renovating in January 2025 though I can't see any way to improve. The staff is kind and professional, the location convenient, quiet, and beautiful, far enough away from the beachfront party scene to skip the noise and traffic but just a few blocks away if you want to find some late night music and beverage, or just a nighttime stroll on the beach. Thank you for everything, just what the doctor ordered.

A treasure with a million dollar view

My wife and I stayed at the Regatta Inn for 4 nights in October 2024. The hotel was better than we could have imagined. Although a little outdated, it was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the hotel staff were very friendly and hospitable. Also, the location of the hotel was good, and the scenic view of Sunset Cay Marina was beautiful.

Very pretty property with gorgeous views. The rooms are all unique and have nice amenities and a very comfortable bed. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We loved the upstairs porch and the screened porches were great places to watch the sunset. The only issue perhaps for some would be the stairs. We would happily come back anytime!

The Inn is beautiful, our room had a panoramic view of the water, the sail boats & even the ocean. The bed was very comfortable. It was our anniversary & we really enjoyed it!

Just beautiful

Felt private, inviting, home away from home. Staff personalized experience, welcoming. Beautiful, clean interior. Enjoyed the kitchenette/dining area. Happy hour.

We absolutely loved the view of the water and sunset from our room as we sat out on the porch. The Happy Hour snacks were a nice surprise. Would love to stay again!
