After the semi broke down we were sent over to the local Motel 6. We knew not to expect much in the frills department but our room was clean and the bed was comfy. The management was friendly and helpful with our questions. They had delicious coffee in the lobby all day plus we had a microwave and refrigerator in our room. I can honestly say this is the nicest Motel 6 I've stayed at.

Broke down in Texas

I currently work next door to this hotel, and had to work very late and return extra early the next morning so I decided to book a room.

The room (ground floor) was very clean, and was stocked with the necessities. You could hear some of the highway traffic, but with the air on it was not noticeable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The price was great! I wish i could list more, but I only spent about 4 hours in the room....sleeping.

As a company (Redneck Diesel Performance llc) that provides performance - repairs for 18 wheeler trucks, we have sent MANY drivers here to stay while their truck is in the shop. I have only heard great things about the rooms, price, and staff from them. I am confident when I send an owner operator to this hotel, that they will be happy with their stay.

I Work Next Door

Arrived late, check out smooth. Good clean room. Plenty of water pressure, easy access to highway, lots of stuff nearby. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking for my truck and trailer. Highway is kinda noisy but just turn on the ac, heat or fan to block it out. Always pet friendly. Will stay again

Just attended the Red River Showdown for the weekend with my family and wife and we needed a place to stay and this place was not all that bad as the reviews stated they were. I even booked a smoking room because we needed a place to stay and the and WE DO NOT SMOKE and the room was VERY CLEAN and didn't smell that bad. Bottom floor room with wood floor, decent TV with DirecTV, mini fridge and microwave and lots of HOT WATER! If you need a place to sleep and shower with a clean environment this was a great stay for only $69 a night! CANT BEAT THAT! SUPER CLOSE TO DALLAS! We checked in at 3 a.m. and had no problems with the staff, we even needed extra towels and no hassle. Overall the stay was great. And the area is not SHADY like some people wrote.

Wasn't all that bad

I do traveling nursing in this area I stayed nearly two to 3 months prices always changing owner is shady have to watch him with the prices.  Rooms are ok but always have some type of plumping problems, leaky sinks, knob missing to work water in shower, and flooding due to pipes or plumping need repairs.  Staff is ok just watch that owner there in morning to late evening money hungry and do not care about comfort of customers will do extended stay or LA Quinta Inn for his new prices.

Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had at any hotel, let alone a Motel 6. Where do I even begin? The toilet in my room decided to overflow completely out of the blue. And when I say overflow, I mean a full-blown, catastrophic flood. The worst part? Nobody was even using it at the time! This wasn't just a minor issue; this was an utter disaster caused by their appalling maintenance.

The water just kept coming, and the bathroom quickly turned into a disgusting swamp. There was no way to stop it, and it spilled out into the room, soaking everything in its path. My shoes, which I needed for a baby shower today, were completely soaked and ruined. Now they smell like they’ve been marinating in a cesspool. I can't even begin to describe the smell. It was as if this toilet had been waiting for the perfect moment to unleash hell on earth.

I immediately went to the front desk to report the situation, and what did I find? Absolutely no one. The front desk was completely deserted. I waited and waited, but nobody showed up. Maybe they were hiding from the flood themselves. No sense of urgency, no offer to switch rooms, nothing. Are you kidding me?

I don’t even know how I’m going to get out of this room. I had to use my only towels to soak up the mush. It’s like a bad episode of "Survivor: Motel 6 Edition." I guess I’m going to have to call the fire department to lure me out of here and hoist me out like some kind of swamp creature.

This wasn't just a case of bad upkeep; this was a complete and utter failure of the most basic standards of hygiene and customer care. I am absolutely disgusted and appalled that this place is allowed to operate. It's clear that Motel 6 doesn't give a damn about their guests' comfort or well-being. Avoid this hellhole at all costs unless you want to experience the absolute worst in hospitality

Survivor motel 6 edition

Coming into town with my family I came to check into a room about 5am. The young man at the front desk during that shift with a very poor appearance didn’t disclose information to me that later resulted in an even worst experience that will soon be told. He gave me the room key and going upstairs to settled in the room was a smoking room. Burn marks on the bedding, bathroom NASTY.. the room was so Smokey I immediately had to leave to go to another room. I paid the difference in price to go to another room when he should have ASKED me what kind of room I needed. Fast forward about 11am housekeeping comes to clean the room we explained we paid for the whole day ($111) so she left later to come back in 10mins to tell us to go downstairs because the manager said we didn’t pay and wanted to talk to us. So I called to the front desk for clarification because the young man at the desk advised that check out would be sun 12pm. The lady at the front desk was so rude and wasn’t understanding at all. I said “ma’am we paid over $100 just to be here for 6hrs?” Her reply was you’ve been to a hotel before you know this is how it goes. I told her the young man at the front desk didn’t disclose that we paid over $100 just for 6hrs that’s a hustle! And you don’t get to assume anything when your employee dropped the ball about disclosing this information she continued to go on and on being disrespectful until I just hung up, gathered my family and left. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
