Booked a non-smoking Studio Suite for a three night stay in July '24. During the entire stay the room was never cleaned. Linens and/or towels were not changed. There were dead bugs in the room. After waiting patiently for a day & half, I complained about the room not being cleaned to the desk clerk in the evening. His only response was, "house-keeping had already left for the day." No apology. No promise to relay my complaints.

No coffee pot of any type in the room.

Poor quality for the price of $100+ per night.

I don't recommend this chain in this city and should me or my family ever return, we won't stay in this flea-bag motel!

Worst hotel stay in years. No decades!

Just want to give kudos to Moe who helped with a big problem with our reservation. We had requested a room with king size bed and walk in shower due to mobility issues. When we attempted to check in, none of the available rooms would be acceptable. Due to booking through Priceline, it was difficult to cancel the reservation so we could get a refund and go elsewhere. Moe at the front desk made the necessary calls and we recently received our refund. We really appreciate his professionalism and assistance in a very stressful situation. Thanks Moe!

I'd read a review which said you get what you pay for. Totally agree. At 80$ a night, its completely worth it. The room was clean, the staff cooperative. Vending machine is temperamental. May or may not accede to your needs. A Kroger is half a mile away if you dont mind a walk. Many varied eateries around. No reason to complain about anything. Don't expect a Hilton or Sheraton at that price! ,

You get what you pay for.

No local tv.No nothing.This is as basic as you can get.Never ever again.Cheap mattress,do it yourself service.I had no local tv channels.TV is big remote worn down.When it was the motel 6 or Worthington inn it was a little better.

Not worth it , unless your car breaks down 

Stayed here because the rate was supposed to be $60 per night for a double bed room.  It ended up being $77?!
 
It's next to a Red Roof Plus and you can see it from 270.

It is a pretty nice room and motel.  It's situated around condos/apartments and other hotels.  They did seem to want to rent out the back of the motel first.

Service was really friendly at reception. 

It is a very basic two-story motel, but it is just what we needed.  We were needing as cheap as possible but also nothing nasty, dangerous or infested.  The interior of the room wasn't perfect, but it was nice for being so cheap.

My one complaint is the amount of dog poop in many of the grassy areas, and amount of trash on their property.  
If you have a dog, make sure they're utd on their shots so they don't pick up anything while sniffing, bring your own poop bags (even if it's grocery bags or newspaper bags), and always watch where you're walking.  

And I wouldn't recommend leaving valuables in your vehicle.

But I slept so good the first night.  The bed was clean and very comfortable.  Very quiet motel for being next to the highway.

The shower faucet is tricky.  It only goes 90°, and the hot water is halfway between, at 45°.  
No toiletries except little soaps for sink and shower.  
They offer a bath rug, two towels, two washcloths and two hand towels.

There is heat and a/c, a little table with 2 chairs, a tv, a nightstand, a separate bathroom with tub and toilet, two trash cans, a little coat rack on the wall, a landline phone, and a sink and counter with multiple lights overhead.

Apparently there's a pool and breakfast according to signage? but I didn't see anything while there.  I didn't really investigate though.

It's dog-friendly and includes a $50 pet deposit.

Plenty of parking.

Depending on what payment method you use, your card may put a small extra charge on each added day as a hold, but mine did come drop down from $92 to $77.  The refunds haven't shown up yet. 

Ignore the mess in our pics.  Our plans to camp at Hocking Hills fell through, so we ended up with all the stuff we had in the motel.

Basic, clean, reliable.

Rooms were OK
A bit expensive for what it is
Very noisy outside during  the night
Lots of shouting and arguing would not rush back
Rooms were clean and tidy
Spent one night here then moved over to the quality Inn only ten dollars more

I recently switched up and stayed at the Motel 6 in Worthington.  I found the property clean.  The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.  The location is close to many of Columbus' attractions.  The hotel personnel were friendly and helpful. For an inexpensive stay, I would recommend this hotel.

Personal

I was in town for 1 month and was needing a reasonable price place to stay for the duration of my time here in Columbus. I was never given a rule book nor did it state on the website that a cleaning is mandatory during my stay here. I was not in the room until later in the evening but would stop by occasionally during the day to check in on my dog. I was told that I had to leave because I was never available to allow them to come inside to clean. I asked the owner if they can come on schedule and he told me they don't have a schedule time. Not sure how the working class stay here if it is mandatory to allow them to come inside to clean daily. The guy in the room next to mine was asked to leave for the same reason. I was told they are not wanting to renew me because one of the cleaning people said I slammed the door in their face when they came to clean (lies, I wasn't there). Stay at your own risk and don't expect any privacy, they want to clean everyday and if you refuse, they will do it anyways or ask you to leave.

Rude and nasty

We came to Ohio to celebrate my daughters birthday. Our room had bed bugs; even with us presenting the actual bug and bite marks the manager denied he has bed bugs and would not do anything. We had to leave early ruining my child’s b-day and now have to spend money to remove the bed bugs from our belongings or throw everything away. This has ruined our trip and cost us countless dollars. We will never stay at another Motel 6. Corporate stated this was a franchise issue neither will do anything or provide any compensation.

BED BUGS at Motel 6 Columbus

Cheap place to stay, everything worked.. Strong wifi and cold AC unit. Room was cleaned daily and even had several free HBO channels. Would recommend to others if only looking for a place to sleep. We pretty much did activities during the day and were only there at night.. No complaints.. and price was way cheaper than surrounding places.. Keep in mind this is a  Motel.. not a Hotel
