Best accommodations in Ullswater Lake area! Julie runs a fabulous, small, quiet, clean and well-appointed establishment. The room was lovely with modern, high quality furnishings and ensuite bathroom. The craftsmanship was evident and a reflection of the money and pride put into Ullswater View. The breakfast was exceptional with a nice selection of choices. Artfully done dining area. Chocolates on fluffy pillows! Right near the lake with a few close trails nearby. Exceptional stay! We were thrilled to be there and you will be, too!

We found a diamond here in choosing the Ullswater View. Plenty of pre arrival contact with Julie and a very warm welcome. No fuss and a quick tour and we were at home. The room was very comfortable and clean, excellent shower and quality towels. Loved the honesty bar, great place to relax after a days touring The Lakes. With Pooley Bridge just up the road, there are plenty of choices to dine nearby. Really enjoyed the terrace, to be able to sit and read.  The breakfast was 5 Star, the toast made from freshly homemade bread (the fruit loaf a must) and as for the Eggs Benedict, I fell in love with that the 1st morning and had it twice moor. We felt so comfortable that, we really deal feel at home, coming and going as we pleased, everything we could have needed was there for us. Thank you Julie and your Staff for having us, will love to come back soon.

Honestly cannot fault this hotel at all!
We were greeted with a smile by Julie, who explained everything including local places to eat that evening. Our room was absolutely spotless and had the comfiest bed ever with amazing views. 
Staff were friendly, breakfast is fantastic and the location of the hotel is just perfect.

We had a 2 night stay in a beautiful room with everything you need.  Fantastic view. Bed was very comfy especially after a long day walking.  Breakfast was one of the best we have had and we have travelled a lot. I would most definitely stay here again.

We have just got back from another week’s holiday, lovely clean site with great friendly staff nothing is too much trouble for staff, this is the second time we have been and won’t be the last it’s certainly a relaxing peaceful site with great views, nice places to go for days out

Autumnal break away in the lakes. Second time here. Still a lovely place. Very quiet but it was end of season. Staff as friendly as before l. Can’t do enough for you. Shame the weather was a bit wet everyday but didn’t spoil the break away. Defo be back again

We stayed in our caravan with fully serviced, hard standing pitch, it was perfect! 
The facilities at the park were brilliant and spotlessly clean. The staff here were lovely, welcoming and helpful. 
We took our 2 children (aged 7 & 3) the site had a lovely playground to visit. We visited the chip shop on site which was open Friday and Saturdays 5-8pm, it was lovely! 
The park overall is very quiet, at night it was so peaceful we didn’t have any problems with surrounding people at all. 
We took a walk to pooley bridge which from the site took around an hour, when we got there everywhere accepted dogs into shops, pubs and cafes! It was very welcoming! We had food at one of the pubs and it was very good!! 

It was a peaceful and relaxing break!! The views around you are amazing!! It would be definitely worth the visit!
In the future we plan to come again to do a different walk etc.

Just had a 10 night camping holiday with friends, it is a large site, with showers, toilets of which are very clean, there is also a shop on site and a pub, a fish shop as well that is open 5 nights a week. Staff  are very helpful. The views are amazing, it is a very quiet site. We would recommend a visit.

A last minute decision to go down to the Lakes on a Friday with my dog. Opted for an ensuite hut, which was clean neat and very comfortable.

Very easy & friendly check in and out.

Site really well maintained, everything was as you would expect.
Fish & chip shop on site as well as a bar, all with friendly staff and reasonably priced drinks & food.

We stayed as a couple with our dog over the Easter weekend on an electric hookup pitch. We'd stayed here a few months earlier in one of the pods and absolutely loved the site so couldn't wait to return. 
We were absolutely delighted once again with the site. The whole grounds are maintained very well, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Facilities are great. Plenty of washing up areas, plenty of showers and toilet blocks. (Although you've got to get in there before they get busy and muddy!)
We were reminded to take rock pegs which was useful as the electric hookup pitches are very rocky (your tent is pitched on artificial grass though).
It was very busy when we went but still lots of room for all the happy campers and plenty of space between tents. We love it here and will definitely be returning next Easter!
