From the second we arrived until the second we left , the welcome was very warm from our hosts . Nothing was too much trouble for them . They made our brief stay very enjoyable & interesting. The room was delightful clean & comfortable. The breakfast choice very comprehensive & good. The whole house & hosts  show quality that is rare these days . We would without any hesitation fully recommend that you experience the same perfection in everything that we did . Joan & Tony Rowland 

Superb experience quality at its best 

We stayed here for 1 nights, Very clean, good wifi & good-sized bathroom. Breakfast was amazing. Cooked to perfection.

The staff here are super-friendly and can't do enough to stayed here for 2 nights, in Room 4, at the back of the building. Very clean, good wifi & good-sized bathroom. Breakfast was very good. Nice selection of continental & cooked, to order.

Comfortable overnight stay

What a find. Such a beautiful place. Very quiet, down a country lane. Pretty village nearby. Spotlessly clean. Lovely hosts, nothing too much trouble. Breakfast excellent! Only a few miles from Stonehenge.

We were very pleased with our 3 night stay at Gunville House.
Beautiful old thatched house with very nice gardens set in the countryside which was very quiet.
Very nice rooms with comfortable beds eyc.
Nice breakfasts & drinks.
Tessa & Rupert were the best hosts possible.

Holiday with my wife

This is our third stay here and great yet again ... but even better now with the addition of a small kitchen for your personal use which is ideal if you want to self-cater. Tessa and Rupert are very pleasant and helpful, and their hospitality was perfect with a warm welcome, lovely tasty breakfast with a selection of fruit, juices, cereals, full English if you want plus homemade jams so plenty of choice! The room is very pleasant with a sofa, comfy bed and a bathroom with bath/shower. If you want to visit Stonehenge this B&B is perfectly located and just a short drive away. We also visited Amesbury which has an interesting small museum with lots of local history. Would recommend this B&B too if you want a stopping point en route to the West Country as it's just off the A303.

LOVELY STAY ONCE AGAIN

We stayed an extra day it was so nice.  The downstairs room is perfect for travelers.  Large, comfortable and clean.  In this lovely part of England the countryside is quiet except for the cooing of the pigeons.  What a wonderful reprieve coming from London's noise.   The best part of the stay were the hosts Rupert and Tess... wonderful people!  Tess tops out by serving a fantastic breakfast.  Excellent in all regards.

A wonderful find ... English Country Side and a great couple

I stayed here last week when meeting a friend in nearby Stockbridge. Very comfortable room with nice bathroom and shower. Tessa very welcoming and I enjoyed a very pleasant breakfast overlooking their pretty garden. Ideal hideaway and good location for fishermen coming to the River Test area.

PERFECT B&B IN NICE QUIET LOCATION

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.
Love Gunville house, Tessa is incredibly friendly and kind, she goes out of her way to make you feel welcome, and is an excellent cook.
Nogbad is the house labrador and he is just the cutest dog ever ! 
Comfortable beds, delicious breakfast and excellent value.
