Noisey, no travel cot and the air on was broken. Meaning my 9month old had a broken sleep and was woken up at 6am by work men as the window was open because the air on didn’t go below 20 degrees 

Unacceptable

We have stayed at the Swansea Waterfront many times in the past as our son lived in Swansea. Always found the hotel, clean, welcoming and enjoyed a quiet nights sleep. We booked for our whole family, 4 rooms ,this time and were so disappointed. Three rooms on the scaffolding side were woken very early with tremendous noise of machinery and cursing. The whole hotel looks and feels so tired and uncared for. I hope it is refurbished soon and brought back to the standard we expect of Premier Inns.

Disappointing stay.

Took the meal deal - wish I hadn’t.  
Paid for parking - got a parking ticket. 
Checking in - mistakes were made. 
Most of the restaurant staff were lovely but there’s always one that’s not.
Very clean room, comfy bed. Window wouldn’t open so it was stuffy.

I’ll try a different hotel next time I go to Swansea.

We decided to travel to Swansea from Oxford and stay for one night to be rested and relaxed ready for a wedding the next day! The good thing for us was check out at 12pm! We had a lovely meal in the restaurant on arrival which wasn’t pre booked by us but they were happy to provide a time slot of 7.45pm! The room was as you’d expect in a Premier! It was a quiet night! The only criticism was the bed was a bit hard! Breakfast was good but they’d run out of hash browns, black sausage and couldn’t do veggie sausages! Everything else was good! We did the meal deal and it was excellent value for money! £10.99 breakfast and for an extra £17 each you got a starter and main or main and dessert and free drink! I had cider and my wife white wine! My main meal alone was £15.99 on the menu! Lovely location for a walk in the evening! Give it a go! 

Swansea Waterfront Premier Inn

Terrible smell of burnt grilled food on arrival. Young girl on reception clearly didn't want to be there. I can't fault the room it was comfy but... on arriving home I realised I had left my expensive hair straighteners there and I called many times but nobody answers the phone. Eventually the  day after, someone did and said they hadn't been handed in (surprise surprise).. she said she would check and call me back but didn't. I called again and got a slightly more helpful lady who did a more thorough check of lost property and the safe and said she would ask housekeeping the next day and get back to me. No one has done so obviously they haven't been handed in. So, to the cleaner of room 306 on 28th Dec, enjoy my straighteners and I hope they don't burn your hair.

Lovely food , staff from who we saw were friendly,  but the sleep was very poor due to lack of hardly any sleep because of noise, there was noise from other rooms , and outside the hotel. However the breakfast was lovely

Warm welcome from reception. Room as expected from Premier Inn.
Website advised about scaffolding (due to windows being replaced) and also advised the rooms would be getting an upgrade when windows complete. 

This is a city location and you must bear this in mind when booking.  When windows are being replaced work starts at 8am (also on website) this didn't happen during our break 27 - 30 Dec. However, there was early noise from refuse collection and a delivery, though not excessive. It was peaceful at night time. 
 
Extra pillows are provided if required.  You will have to ask for a mat for the shower if required.  Rooms are only cleaned/towels replaced during your stay if you ask  at reception.  
Tea/coffee not automatically replenished - this is available at reception to pick up as required.
Basically if anything is needed reception are helpful. 

Breakfast is served at the Beefeater attached.  Continental and cooked available. The cooked is kept warm and is better than what we've had at another budget chain. Our evening meal at Beefeater was spot on.

If you don't want to eat at the Inn, you are just a 10 - 15 min walk from the town Whetherspoons, Ask Italian  and other eateries and pubs.

We were aware before our stay that car parking is £6.00 for 24 hours (£5.00 for 12 hours). As this was a winter stay we were on the car park for more than 12 hours overnight.  Download the RingGo app is easier as you have to let your 24 hours run out before you add more time. You can use the app from anywhere. It costs 20p to use the app for each instance of parking.

Overall our stay was pleasant and we would go back.


Comfortable stay.

The helpfulness of the staff made up for the inadequacies of the building.  The lifts were inadequate and unreliable. This was a problem since we are two wheelchair users. Food in the evening was excellent but breakfasts were mediocre at best. Recommend continental breakfast rather than cooked.

Excellent staff

Had a great time, lovely place to stay, friendly staff always willing to help, plenty of things to do with a beefeater and Tesco nearby and great view from the room. Would definitely stay there again.
