Would really recommend this hotel. Very quiet, excellent parking and staff were very helpful and friendly. 

A  excellent stay

I used the hotel as it was a good location to my final location. It is located in a very busy corner, railway line on one side, the M1 on another side.  With the window shut, the room was fine, with it open it was quite noisy.  Comfortable room as you would expect, bathroom was quite small in comparison to the rest of the room!

Lovely room

Called social services on my four month old making up lies worst experience ever they don’t think how people’s feelings will be hurt and that we left our room in a complete mess even though we put all out rubbish in a black bag and left that in the room for the cleaners to take

Absolutely shocking

The room was bigger than expected and had clean linen sheets and hot running water. The reception had free chilled water.

On the downsides the heating in the room didn’t work for more than 2 minutes at a time. This was uncomfortable because of the rooms size, it made waking up in the morning very cold given the outside temperature was 11 degrees.

Heating was poor but everything else was good

Our stopover at Sheffield Meadowhall was good.  Staff on reception very pleasant and helpful, with one lady offering to take our bags to the room as the lift was as out of order. One of the better travelodges we’ve stayed at in terms of quiet during the night!

The Menu is very poor choice!  that's before they tell you they have run out through supply issues.
Steak pie .. gravy not heated through. Peas rock hard.
Half chicken no coleslaw. Food warm

No curried chicken available!
Menu is awful needs a rethink. Breakfast is great! Would like fried eggs but I understand.. Buffet

Food needs a complete overhaul and staff training better for meals

Staying for 2 nights for an event nearby. No issues parking, check in was pretty quick and friendly. Unfortunately the lift was broken which wasn't ideal being on the 3rd floor. Think I had a room on the wrong side of the hotel as I faced out towards meadowhall and the road, making the room warmer and also a bit noisy when the local chavs were bombing around with their bazzed up cars or the trains felt like using their horn. Had breakfast and dinner both nights as I didn't feel like venturing out which was fine. Location and staff were the highlights of the trip, the hotel building itself needs a revamp due to lack of air con, no plugs near the bed or working lift.

Excellent Location & staff, building in need of modernisation

Not a great stay at all the temperature in the room was very hot ask for another fan and was told we couldn't have one... the lifts wasn't working the vendor machine wasn't working.. not a great safe.

Standard stay in Travelodge Sheffield. It's a bit out of town but I was at a conference in Rotherham so for me a really good location. Free parking on site. Room was ok. Lobby , bar and restaurant ok. The only thing I thought a bit odd was that the bed was made up with just a sheet to sleep under. (In Italy this would be fine, but in Sheffield in September it was a bit inadequate). There was a duvet packed away in a cupboard that I had to find. The linen on it was a bit shabby and didn't button up along the seam. It seemed like a bit of an afterthought. Breakfast was great, plenty of options and lots available. A decent spot for a couple of nights while away on a work trip.
