Malcolm and Heather are perfect hosts, welcoming and friendly, the room was nice and cozy and the beds were comfy, we slept very well, shower was good. 
Parking available just round the corner and a pub at the end of the road that did amazing food. 
The breakfast was perfect.

Malcolm and Heather were fantastic hosts, friendly and very informative, Very good value and the breakfasts were delicious. Very clean and tidy room with modern En-Suite. If you get the chance book this B&B you won't be disappointed

Great stay!

So welcoming, from the first meet to the time I left i Felt so welcome. Breakfast was amazing and the room was clean and comfortable. Excellent for everything it's so well placed, they are brilliant for recommending places to eat and visit.

Fantastic place

We stayed 3 nights and as we were given the keys could come and go as we wished which was perfect for us.

The room was clean and had the usual extras like coffee and tea, hairdryer, even soap, shampoo and conditioner!

Breakfast was flexible, time wise, with a good range of choice. As we had to fill in a menu for a cooked breakfast the previous evening there was no waiting around for service. The food was hot and freshly cooked.

Heather and Malcolm are warm and friendly hosts. They are chatty and interested in all their guests but also know when people want their own space.

If anyone has any special requirements regarding room or diet etc Heather and Malcolm would be very obliging and approachable.

We recommend a visit.

Sumner break

We found this little gem at the last minute for a short break away in the sunshine. Malcolm and Heather are the perfect hosts who can't do enough for you. Amazing location only a minutes walk from the beach and activities. Spotless room with everything you need. Absolute bargain in the high season with breakfast included.
If you need a place to stay, look no further..

Perfect short break

Lovely 3 night stay in a family room. Malcolm and Heather were great hosts and very accommodating, even helped us after we had forgot our beach towels!!
The B&B is ideally located sat back from the Main Street and with the local shops close by.
A beautiful part of the world that we hope to come back to soon. 
Best rates if book direct rather than via Expedia as we did.

Lovely hospitality - Great location

Can't recommend this B&B highly enough, from the moment Malcom greeted us with a homely smile to the time we left. The rooms are clean and well presented with comfortable beds, there is ample tea, coffee, milk and sugar in the rooms with Malcolm or Heather checking to see if you need any more. Breakfast was served up a few minutes after you sat down in the dining room, there is a form in the folder in the bedroom to fill in for breakfast that has to be placed in the box before 9.00pm. Again tea and coffee along with fruit juice is bottomless. The position of the house is just off the main sea front in a quiet road and takes no more than a couple of minutes walk to the beach or local shops. If you have travelled by car there is a car park around the corner and you can purchase pay and display tickets off Malcolm or Heather at a cheaper rate than the council charge. All in all it was a relaxing pleasurable stay and I hope to visit again one day. Thank you both for your hospitality.

Two day visit

Could not fault a thing rooms lovely breakfast was spot on host where great the booklet in your room with places to eat and things to do was a great help we will b returning in the near future as I say perfect

Perfect

Stayed for two nights visiting a friend. Malcolm and Heather couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful and even dealt with me stupidly getting my dates mixed up kindly and cheerfully. Lovely clean room and comfy bed. Couldn't have asked for more, cannot recommend B&B Near The Sea highly enough. If you're thinking of staying here, do it! 😊
