Cannot fault this hotel and staff. Just a 5 minute walk into town, 2 pubs and a small convenience store right on your doorstep. Plus the added bonus of being able to park on site at no extra cost. The room was spotlessly clean, even under the beds!!! Microwave, kettle, refrigerator and additional sink for washing dishes and drainer.
Just a final thank you to Alex, the manager, nothing was too much trouble, you made our stay all the more pleasurable, thank you!
Will be recommending you for sure

What a great find
Our vehicle had broken down and we needed an overnight stay, we found this hotel and just how pleasant it was
The receptionist was very friendly and helpful and the room on offer was a lovely double with en-suite and kitchenette 
Everything was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable

Great find

This is a budget hotel  that is clean, well equipped and well situated. An easy walk to the city centre, with ample free car parking. The staff were friendly and provided extra pillows and teabags etc on request.  Extremely good value.

Very satisfied

The staff are friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was obviously newly refurbuished, and it felt like we were the first people to stay in that room! Such a great price, considering you are only a stop or two on the bus from the centre, and at such a great price! The fascilities were also good if you were staying a few nights (kettle, fridge, sink, etc). Not sure why people are expecting a 5 star restraunt attached for such a bargain, but I've definalety spent the night at worse places! (Plus free parking is a great bonus in this local, and right next to some lovely gardens and church).

New Face!

I booked a room for 1 night as it is near the hospital where I had an appointment the following day. My room was ground floor with a wide bay window with a pleasant outlook. My room and ensuite were 100% clean and fresh,  with tea and coffee making provision plus a microwave for use. The ensuite had a large shower sink with mirror and a modern toilet suit. The whole suit was spotless.  There is a wall mounted television  opposite the double bed. 2 tub chairs in the bay window area extremely comfortable for watching TV or reading. I cannot believe some of the negative comments some even look and sound false. The photograph at the top of this page is NOT The Earlham Hotel  although it is in the vicinity

New owners, new management, 100% refurbished, excellent services, not 1 complaint !

The rooms here have all been refurbished to a high standard and top marks for cleanliness.  Great value and in a wonderful location right next to the Plantation Gardens, 10 minutes walk to the central area and free parking. Rooms have a kitchenette with fridge and microwave and smart TVs. It is quiet and the staff extremely helpful. Special thanks to Joe who could not do enough to make my stay comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Outstanding customer service, brilliant location

We were visiting Norwich to see a show and decided to make a weekend of it. As this was going  to involve sampling the local watering holes we didn't need anywhere posh, just clean, quiet (we learned not to stay in city centres after we did it once in Brighton....) and not expensive. TBH my husband booked this before we saw the reviews, which I only read on the drive to Norwich and was obviously concerned that it wasn't going to pass the clean bit. However we pulled into the Cathedral car park, saw the new annex and decided to check it out. The lady in reception was lovely and the room was sparkling new and clean and the bathroom the same, and with a huge shower. The photos on the website are  correct and the older section is not being rented out any longer. With 2 days' free parking included, saving around £40, and only a 10 minute stroll to the market, this really ended up being a bit of a find, especially as it's 5 minutes to the waffle house which is a must for breakfast. Ticked all our boxes and will definitely use again.

New annex is clean and quiet and parking is free

Stayed with partner,  after worrying when checking in we were directed to a different building where our apartment was.  Clean tidy and very convenient.  Enjoyed stay and are planning on staying again.  Fridge in room, kettle, digital tv and microwave.  Only thing that would have made better are cups, which weren't provided.



Apartment, not as bad as a lot of reviews make out

Room was relatively clean although not perfect. The toilet bowl was extremely thick with a huge buildup of limescale which I managed to remove myself. Also a smell.of urine, drains? The bed moved every time we did and unfortunately the room remained bright and lit up all night as curtains weren't really fit for purpose and the emergency light was extremely bright. Staff all lovely and pleasant and very helpful.

OK for a quick stopover

Great location, 10 minutes to the town centre, friendly helpful staff and parking was good, great shower. Unfortunately, bad smells in the room, poor furniture  with creaky bed and naff cupboards, incredibly noisy mini fridge that kept me awake. Church right next door with bells ringing from 8.30am onwards. Budget hotel for not such a Budget price. Make you own mind up if you want to stay here, we won't be but the desk guy said they've just taken over and improvements are imminent. Let's hope so.
