Hi We could’nt even access the property, they gave me access code which never worked and no key pads for the codes given. Doors full of spider webs, you could see they haven’t been used in a while..We tried calling them they didn’t answer they phones. I had 4 Kids with me and had travelled 2hrs to get there and noone cared.. our weekend was ruined as we had to drive back home.. also tried calling hotels.com and again poor reception and the lady i spoke to did really understand English The outside of the alleged propery was filthy and full of flies it’s actually a disgrace to hotels.com seeing you advertise such a place. I have attached the photos of the place

Scammed

originally was meant to stay in another property but they cancelled on me due to electrical issues so had to find somewhere last minute at night, found this property and had to drive from the first to this one, once i had arrived i was sat outside in my car for over an hour trying to gain access, i tried calling the mobile number as no access code was given upon check in, the lights were on in the property, i tried dining the buzzer and nobody answered me, i contacted hotels.com to try help and they also couldn’t get in touch with them and told me it was my fault as check in closed at 10pm and i had arrived not shortly after - i wasn’t able to get a refund, i’ve had no reply from the business via email or text although i contacted them on both accounts

Alexander Apartments

Wouldn’t use this company ever again. Hanging around waiting for a call back to get the keys, full apartment smelled really terrible, lots of damage - kitchen cupboard doors missing, smoke alarm missing, lock missing from the bathroom, blinds ripped and didn’t close, and lots more. Had to chase to get the deposit back days later than it should have been returned.

From the street the alleyway to the apartment is run down but the apartment is lovely. Everything you need and very spacious. Would stay here again

The property itself is very nice inside, although the outside alleyway that leads up to it is very dirty. Check in was easy and straightforward and the rooms very big. However, there were a number of issues with the apartment, such as we had to change bulbs in lights that weren't working and the TV doesn't work. The main issue was the broken boiler, which we tried to fix but had a gas supply problem so we had no hot water, which is not ideal after a day at the beach. We couldn't get in touch with management despite ringing several times.

Never actually stayed, our paid for booking was cancelled by owner of Apartment. Hotels.com not responding to my emails for refund

Let down & disappointed.

Apart from the noise from the seagulls and pub next door (which is not the owners fault), our only issues where no curtains or blinds in the upstairs bedroom meaning my children were awake at 6am, the lack of light bulbs and the overflowing bins in the entrance.  Overall it is a lovely apartment, very clean, comfortable and spacious. A suggestion would be to make a parking permit available for guests.

Enjoyable stay

Light bulbs missing. Kitchen was dirty. Locks broken. Called owners and ‘had a discussion’ whereby he argued the case and said i was wrong. Finally they sent in cleaners again
