Absolutely spotless! Wonderful service & hospitality - could not do enough for us.
Adhered to all procedures in regard to covid virus. Breakfast was high standard.
Room was cosy & beautifully decorated. Would definitely stay here again & highly recommend.

Had a lovely stay her

Our short stay in Lynton was made so easy by the host Helen due to her unfaltering local knowledge and pleasant approach. The Croft House is set in a perfect location to explore the local area on foot and serves a great breakfast. Enjoy!

Fantastic location and great rooms 

Wonderful B&B, clean and comfy rooms and the kindest host I've ever met. Helen gave us so many Tips abouts places we need to see and offered me so much support and advice for the book I'm currently writing! 

And the breakfast was amazing as well, there even was a vegetarian option for the english breakfast!

Absolutely wonderful!

We have stayed with Helen twice now ,such a lovely hard working lady who really cares about her guests taking the time to know them.
Breakfast is excellent a great start to the day ,the rooms are clean and comfortable also quiet. We will be going back again soon I'm sure .

Birthday weekend away .

Our stay with Helen was absolutely brilliant, Helen was very welcoming and helpful. The room we were in overlooked the lovely garden and was a good size. The room was immaculate and cleaned everyday. The full English breakfast was good and prepared us for the many walks in the surrounding area. Helen was very helpful in pointing out good walks and places to eat in Lynton and beyond. I would highly recommend Croft House for a relaxing and welcoming stay.

Perfect base for walks

This was a last minute booking and we were not disappointed. The property is beautiful and quaint inside and out, positioned in an ideal location, perfect for exploring beautiful coastal and woodland walks. It is also very close to the Cliff Railway for easy access to and from Lynmouth. Our room, the Lynton Suite, was large with plenty of natural light, very clean and a comfortable bed. The host Helen includes little extras in the rooms which was a lovely touch. The breakfast was plentiful and very nice. 

Helen works very hard but will always make time to chat. She is extremely helpful and provides great information about the area and local eateries. Helen is an absolute delight which made our stay very enjoyable. 

We would not hesitate in recommending the Croft Lodge and look forward to returning in the future.

Delightful 

This was the second time we have stayed at Croft House this year and both times have enjoyed a very comfortable room, lovely breakfasts and wonderful friendly hospitality from Helen, the owner. Would highly recommend.

Delightful B&B

We had the most wonderful stay at Croft House. The accommodation and breakfasts were first class. Our host was exceptionally knowledgeable about Lynton, Exmoor and the surrounding area and was most attentive to our needs. Nothing was too much trouble and she was always on hand for tips and advice. We will, most certainly, be staying at Croft House again!

Review of Croft House, Lynton

Generally a good B & B, very clean accommodation, welcoming owner, good value for money.
Breakfast very good, however, the bacon was always hard - perhaps it had been kept warm or grilled, but otherwise good.  I didn't order it the second day.  The guest lounge would have been used if there had been a TV.  The main problem is that there are not enough breakfast tables if the property is full, so you have to wait uncomfortably in the lounge area right next to the breakfast tables where people are eating.  They are looking at you and you are trying to look elsewhere.  If you are in a rush then its a problem.  Perhaps if they reduced the size of the lounge area and put another small table.
