Been a few times. It’s recently been fine up. You need a car to go out and see things but there is a town within walking distance. The bar is fantastic so make good use of it. Think I’ll spend Xmas here

Stayed here for one week in an Aedis  number 73 ,It was very clean apart from a mouldy loaf left in the bread bin and a abandoned dog jacket found at the side of a settee.It was well equipped with all you could need cooker microwave toaster cutlery etc.a tv in each room 3 in total and a dvd player
It had two small settees in the main living area which were reasonably comfortable and  a table and chairs, the table was extendable.also the decking at the front had a table and four chairs.
The bed was comfy and on the softer side.the bedroom could have done with blackout curtains as the sun shone brightly through them.
The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful
The site is peaceful and well cared for,close to nicholas everitt park,a 5min walk,where you will find cafes restaurants and a local shop and boat hire.
Lowestoft south beach is only a couple of miles away
On the whole a wonderful relaxing week and would definitely stay again
There is a swimming pool,we didnt use it but it looked ok

Just returned from our week in a bungalow  for myself,my husband and our dog Bindi.
The site was lovely and quiet as expected this time of year, which is what we wanted .
Our bungalow  was clean and cozy with a fab view of the waterfront.
Could have stayed another week to be honest. Reception  staff were very friendly .
Absolutely no complaints. Would definitely  go again .oh and price was pretty fab too 👍

We live locally and had lunch in the restaurant today. Food was of good quality and portions plentiful.
Lady who served us was polite and friendly, service was fast. We will be visiting again, thank you.

I wasn’t expecting a great deal here- but I was proved wrong! We had a comfortable well resourced bungalow with a DVD player. It was spotlessly clean. The staff at the swimming pool were the most polite people I’ve ever met. We had a fantastic time and are likely to return.

Booked through Hoseasons to stay in a dog friendly lodge. We were in lodge 72 which is a sun trap in good weather. Great location with bonus of a very good gym on site. Lots of facilities inc marina and pubs restaurants nearby. Less than 10 mins from Lowestoft beach. This is our third stay, only thing I would ask is for some firmer pillows!!

We have just returned from a week away. 
We were very lucky to stay in a newly renovated bungalow (number 10) which was lovely and clean, it had everything you needed.
The park was very quiet and situated next to a lovely park and marina.  We visited some great local places to get food.

We’ve just come back from a weeks stay. The bungalow was compact but has everything you need. Yes, it could do with a bit of updating but that doesn’t detract from great surroundings and it being a nice place to stay. We were very concerned about the mattress after sitting on it. There is no denying you could feel every single spring - and that’s no exaggeration! Neither of us thought we would sleep well but bizarrely enough, we both slept incredibly well the whole week! The park is very clean and incredibly quiet, which made for a really relaxing holiday.

Attractive location on the edge of the marina and you can walk through to Carlton Marshes which now has a visitor centre. You can walk the opposite direction to a nice park, large play park, cafes and boat hire. Nice clubhouse on site plus swimming pool and gym. Friendly, safe atmosphere on site and it’s quiet. Great place for families. We stayed in a caravan which was very clean and cosy and well equipped, it even had a dishwasher. Double bed was particularly comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful.  Dogs allowed in some accommodation. Only 10/15 min drive to beautiful, soft sand beaches at Lowestoft..

Just got home today after a weeks break, we stayed in the Aedis accommodation and it was spotless when we arrived. Nice plump pillows and comfy mattresses which to us is very important, also the second bedroom had full size single beds and not child ones which was great. Lovely and modern, nice shower and lots of kitchen utensils. Surprised to have a private decking and outside furniture, we will definitely be booking for next year when the weather is better. The rest of the park was kept very well and it was nice and quiet which was what we wanted. We really have no criticism whatsoever.

We didn’t get a chance to visit the pool or bar onsite but nice to have the option. Would recommend walking to Oulton Broad as you can visit pubs and cafes there and just walk back. We really recommend the Copper Smokehouse and they are dog friendly.

We stayed in a pet friendly Carlton lodge, the overall accommodation was of a high standard however the living/kitchen area rather small considering it was for 4 people, we were lucky as the weather was good and we made good use of the amazing veranda.  The area is beautiful nice long walks along the Carlton Marshes, and in Nicholas Everett park, which lead to the shops/amenities.  We took drives out to Kesslingland beach as this is dog friendly all year round so my adorable pooch loves it and so did we.  The only negative was the living space and the train that was next to our lodge, it started at 5.20am and finished about 10.20pm, however I would say you get used to it as it’s so infrequent. The Wi-Fi is none existent so don’t bother paying for it even with a booster box . The staff are friend and the holiday park is spotless. Oulton Broads a a beautiful place.
