Thanks for a wonderful stay. Mark joni excellent hosts. Been to llandudno lots of times. Booked this bb which was on other side of the great orme, only 10. 15 min walk to pier. Never stayed this side of llandudno but honestly say it is lovely, views v close great orme, sandy beach never knew existed, and will only stay this side in future. You won't be disappointed staying here. Paul Paula

Lovely couple of nights.

Loved the shower.
Had an issue with pillow but they soon gave us replacements.

Fabulous stay in great location.

This was our fourth stay at The Clontarf but our first since lockdown, Mark and Joni have certainly been busy in the meantime. Rooms and hotel are looking great with Joni's flair for design and with Mark's hard work on the maintenance and upkeep.
Loved the mini cooler box in the room, a great addition, I think it is intended to keep the milk fresh but it also did an excellent job of keeping drinks cold :)
Our veggie breakfasts were excellent, we are normally sick of cooked hotel breakfasts after a few days but were so light and non greasy that we managed one every day.
For us this is the perfect hotel, in the perfect spot in Llandudno, amazing views, with easy access to The Orme. Parking on the road outside the hotel was free and we never struggled to get parked.
Sure we will be back soon.

Another Great Stay at The Clontarf

What an amazing stay at this beautiful hotel, couldn't have asked for a better break. Fantastic couple Mark & Joanie, so welcoming. Beautiful, unique bedroom. Near all facilities and the beach. Very dog friendly. Quiet location and beautiful views. Highly recommended. We will definitely return. 

Amazing break 

Another amazing stay with Joni and Mark at the Clontarf. Wonderful warm welcome from them both on arrival and the room was amazing, cool dark decor and even a 4 poster bed! Joni has a great eye for interior design and furniture repurposing and this really shows in the hotel, both the living room and breakfast area look amazing!! Bed was super comfy, breakfast was mega tasty with fresh local ingredients and lots of it! Can't wait to go back, we love Llandudno and this is the perfect place to stay!! 

Amazing Boutique Hotel In Llandudno. Awesome ❤️ 

Just finished a stay with Mark and Joni and their beautiful doggies. 
We stayed in Room 8 with the very best of views and a luxuriously comfortable bed. 
The bathroom was amazing - especially the wonderful bath - and catered to everything we needed with unexpected, added extras. 
Everything was so clean, comfortable and quiet so we felt nothing but cosy and relaxed throughout our stay. 
Mark and Joni were great in recommending any local restaurants only a short walk away, were friendly and kind in conversation and attentive to anything we needed. 
The breakfast each morning was great, fresh and hot, we very well catered for! 
We’d most certainly be back if it weren’t for the small detail of living in New Zealand - perhaps again one day. 


Best stay. A home away from home.

After going to this hotel in February 2020 we decided to go back in May 2023.What a difference 3 years make. The hotel we visited in 2020 was fantastic. Not the same now. We had room 8. Dirty shower,  no glasses in the bathroom for tooth brushes or to use to rinse your mouth out after cleaning your teeth. The toilet roll holder was very loose on the wall and could have done with a mirror over the sinks instead of at the side of the toilet. The Bedroom has  7 ceiling lights 3 work, loose front plate on electric socket next to bedside cabinet mentioned it to co owner Mark who said "  it's only loose screws" not the safest comment. Didn't do anything about it.  Room had some ceilings water damage understand the roof will be repaired in the next few weeks.
Bedroom badly designed couch under a window looking at a blank wall with tv behind you. Could be moved to the foot of the bed looking at the tv & a view from a window. Sat on the couch now you can see either a cake or biscuit under the bed.
The breakfasts are not as good as they were in 2020.
I believe they need to go back to 3 years ago & offer what they did then.
Sorry to have to be negative  but it needs improvement now.


3 night break with serious reservations. 

Superb B&B, great hosts (Joni and Mark) very accommodating, cosy help yourself bar, lovely large rooms and fantastic unique decor. Excellent breakfast - even did me fried bread !! - Thank you. Very friendly towards dogs and their lounge is so relaxing - Brilliant location and all the people we met there were returning guests which is in its self speaks volumes and firmly endorses what a gem this place is. Will be returning in April and thank you for a wonderful stay - Best wishes - Mike & Helen - Bristol

Superb stay......

I would 100% recommend this hotel, its a little walk out of the town (10 mins) well worth visiting, stunning location opposite the beach, beautiful rooms, both Mark and Joni are very welcoming, first class breakfast, honestly I can say enough...... you won't be disappointed. X

Fabulous 4 night stay in August. We brought our Scottie dog, who was welcomed. I was impressed with this is genuine, dog friendly hotel. 
Free parking, everything within walking distance. 
Stones throw from the beach
Large bedroom with kitchenette. 
Great choice of breakfast. 
We will definitely come back.
