We went for a drink after a disaster of a meal elsewhere, we were welcomed and staff made a  point of asking if we were OK even though we only went in for a beverage or two   ,the food coming out looked lovely so we will definitely come here for a meal in the  future

What a lovely small hotel. If you’re looking for a clean, friendly and centrally located place to stay over in the heart of Lincoln you can’t go wrong here. 
We were greeted warmly and were very pleased with our Room (No. 1). It’s been incredibly hot weather and were delighted to find a powerful fan in our room. We had hoped to take our little dog but as temperatures were hitting the late 20s decided against it. They are however very dog friendly. 
A lovely shower, spacious room and hanging space for clothes. 
Some road noise in the night but the sliding double glazed windows sorted that out. 
Would definitely return.

Excellent location.  Shops, Bars and Restaurants within easy walking distance.   Theatre just across the road.  The bed was comfortable.  There is a small free carpark for residents.  Wifi was great.  Kettle in the room to make your own cuppa.  Only downsides was going out to find breakfast and tv tuned into wrong local channel for the weather forcast!  Husband didn't mind going out for a full english brekkie.  The downstairs bar & grill serves tasty food.

Really enjoyed our short stay in Lincoln

We decided to have a short break in Lincoln as neither my wife or I had visited Lincoln before. We stayed for three nights with our dog and were made to feel very welcome by all the staff we met and were very pleased with the location as it was so central. We enjoyed our meal in the restaurant on the first night and the quality of the food was very good. We stayed in room 4 which was nice and quiet if a little on the small side. It would have been nice to have few extras i.e. complimentary shampoo/shower gel, hairdryer etc in the room as many places we stay provide these as standard these days. Personally we found the double bed a little small and the mattress soft but we have got used to having a king sized bed with a firm mattress at home so others may not find this an issue. This did not detract from our visit overall which was really enjoyable as we loved Lincoln itself and enjoyed the sightseeing throughout our stay and literally there is so much to see. We are happy to recommend The Huckleberry as a place to stay if you are planning a visit to Lincoln, particularly if you have a dog, due to its location and the staff who were excellent throughout.

We really like this bar ,and visit when we are in Lincoln. Friendly staff and good choice of drinks. The food looks good, but we haven't eaten in here yet. Im sure we will be back again soon. Would definitely recommend so handy when going to the theatre.

We had a fabulous evening last night in the restaurant, all the staff were absolutely fantastic and in particular the young waitress assigned to our table Becca, she was so enthusiastic and present, her manner and conversation certainly made our evening. She is an absolute credit to your team. 
We had starters mains and dessert and every course was fantastic and absolutely exceeded our expectations. If I was to make any criticism, the only thing would be the mains came out a little to swiftly after starters, but having said that, we were not rushed at all and spent the best part of three hours enjoying our night.

Great food wonderful staff

We booked this accommodation as it was central & had a bar & restaurant 
When we arrived we were very disappointed to learn that the bar & restaurant is closed Monday & Tuesdays the very days we’d booked 
Our Room number 1 was basic but clean it overlooked a main road but with the secondary double glazing we found it quiet
We found the bed extremely comfortable 
No toiletries are provided no problem to us as we always take our own 
Our room was cleaned on the 2nd day with fresh towels which was impressive & a nice surprise 
Location is perfect it’s central for the Cathedral & Castle also close to bars restaurants & shops also not far to walk to the lovely waterfront 
Prices are reasonable too 
We would stay again but when the bar & restaurant are open

Short break in Lincoln

Myself and my boyfriend stayed here jubilee weekend to celebrate together. Our visit started off well. Easy check-in. Friendly staff. Great Central Location. 

The room itself was very spacious however was very disappointed with the bathroom. Edges off the floor and the bottom off the shower was covered in grime. The bathroom also smelt off sewerage. 

We ignored the bathroom faults and continued with our night away to find blood stains on our bedsheets. Gross !! The pub had closed and all staff had left the building so we wasn’t able to request fresh bedding. 

We arrived back at our room around 11:30pm to hear boom boom boom. There is a nightclub located next to the pub. The music vibrated the walls and was awfully loud. To top off the night there was a taxi rank across the road. This also caused a lot off noise. 

The nightclub closed at 4:00am. It was around 4:30 when we finally fell a sleep. Despite 12:00pm checkout we was knackered. 

We payed £90 for the night.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here and I’d advise to book yourself a room at the premier inn instead.

Very Disappointed.

Easy check-in and very friendly.  The room was in the front of the hotel on a busy street.  They had double windows to keep the noise down, but with them closed, there was no air in the room and it got hot.  Bed was very comfortable.  Shower was hot and plentiful.  Large room and well-appointed.  Overall, we enjoyed our stay
