Customer service was cheerful and checking in early not a problem. Pillows were thick and hard and as such I got a sore neck and struggled to sleep.
However our main issue as shown in the pictures was the travel cot supplied for our 2 year old. It didn’t have a sufficient mattress supplied. The one there didn’t fit there was a huge gap to the bottom and there were holes. It was very uncomfortable and frankly dangerous with so many gaps. Luckily we managed to acquire a suitable mattress for her and she had a good nights sleep. But this is the only hotel where I’ve had to do this and the hotel was not able to provide a solution. Therefore I’d say premier inns are not suitable for families with children who require a cot.

Not for families with small children

Stayed here on the way down to London to break up the journey, found it very easily, lovely greeting from Ben on the front desk and he was full of useful information, room was adequate for our needs with a very comfy bed , we popped into Brewers Fayre for a drink and a meal , we were looked after by the Superb Vicki and could not of been happier with Vicke the food , drink and atmosphere, well done to all the staff for making it all possible, we will make this a regular stopover going forwards 😁

Another Great Premier Inn 

I enjoyed my stay at the Premier Inn. The staff were friendly and didn't interfere, but of course they were there if I needed anything. They were polite too.

The room was comfortable and quiet, which was just what I needed.

A Nice Visit

We always stay at premier inn to break up our journeys going on holidays so been to quite a few and apart from difficulty finding it because it's behind a service station  it was the friendliest one we have been to would definitely use again if in the area.

Best premier yet

Booked for 2 nights to break a 500 mile each way car journey

Hotel not initially easy to find - no clear signage and appears as if you're entering a petrol station to get to it

Good car parking with fast and friendly check-in

Lift not working a mild inconvenience - these things happen

Room was boiling hot (I was aware no air conditioning, but had expect the window to open more than the smallest sliver' - as a result less than 4 hours sleep had each night

Shower no matter how you adjusted it constantly pulsed between hot and cold water

Adjoining restaurant unable to seat me, but did eventually offer to serve me in the bar.  Food was average at best, which fries cold and soft

I have stayed in many Premier Inns, I will not be returning to this one notwithstanding its suitable location for what I needed

I would have made a claim under the ;good sleep guarantee;, but this helpfully excludes boiling hot rooms being the cause of having little sleep

We stopped for 1 night as a family of 4. The small camp bed was extremely uncomfortable for my teenage son, very lumpy. The room had no air conditioning, & was 25 degrees at 3am, the window opened 4inch.

Tidy room but so hot

Staff all seemed friendly and genuinely pleased to help - the lady on check-in even helped us find scissors and sellotape for gift wrapping, and David in the morning was very approachable and checked we had a good stay.

Our room was clean and well aired, furniture and fittings well maintained. Windows good at keeping outside noise to a minimum. Entry hall has extra complementary tea and coffee sachets which was appreciated. We found this to be a particularly good example of a Premier Inn.

Warm welcome

A very tired room that was in desperate need of decorating and remodelling. 
The floorboards creaking both in our room and the room above kept us awake. The room was too hot, no Aircon and if you opened the window, the noise made it impossible to sleep.

Travel a few extra miles and stay at a Travel Lodge 

Certainly not Premier

I stayed for one night as it is in a brilliant location for visiting and supporting family. I was welcomed by Jenny in reception, and as I had arrived early, I took advantage of paying £10 for early check-in. Jenny found me a room, and I was able to settle in before going out on my visits.
On my return I had a lovely meal in the restaurant which was excellent value.
I would definitely stay again.

The only thing that let the two night stay down was the breakfast in the Brampton Hut, which on both days was lack luster and definitely not Premier when compared to my other stays at Premier Inns!
