bad dirty bad mattress was told to shut up as wen was on phone we was talking to a man in different room . mattress needs replaceing in room 2 badly .stuff under bed we put in bin.windows dirty in dineing room nets tyed up . to many plants on window that makes it untidy looking . wasnt offered parking permit my wife as disabilitys but other guest said they got parking permits . rowing machine in dineing room and big sawing machine was not happy as saved her money by phoneing directrather than booking .com

Excellent guest house with great clean rooms and lovely breakfast great for the price will definitely come back. Wen the landlady was great as were her family the only downside was sharing a bathroom but this did not bother me and I didn’t bump into any other guests when I needed to use

Great great great if Carlsberg done guest houses this would be their premium lager wouldn’t hesitate recommending this

We recently stayed here for one night to extend our week away by a day. We saw this place online and thought it looked nice. The room was lovely and well decorated and had everything you could need for a night away. The staff were nice. Can't comment on the breakfast as we didn't have it. Parking was terrible. We knew parking was limited however it was very bad. Nowhere free to park close to guest house and then had to pay to stay near the guest house down a side road. apart from the parking we enjoyed our stay.

After reading the reviews we were a bit dubious at first but no need for concern as very good room really clean good comfy bed and lovely breakfast great location close to town but still quite we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again parking near by which was a bonus

Perfect location

Been coming here for 12 years, Sue the proprietor was fantastic and gave excellent service and was always a pleasure to stay there  New owners this year as sue has retired. We were assured that we would get the same treatment as we usually got. No-one was there on our arrival. A woman walked up street and said she was the new owner and immediately asked for £10 to park our car. Once inside she demanded full cost of stay. We said that usually we pay on leaving and had not got any cash till we had been to the bank. My husband had gone upstairs with the bags so I told her I would speak to him upstairs. She came up half hour later asking if he was getting the money from the bank. I said not at the moment as he'd had a long drive. She left and returned 5mins later saying that her husband wanted payment in full now and went back downstairs. She returned shortly so I told her we would only be stopping overnight at which she demanded the cash for the one night. So when she left the room we packed up and left. Absolutely disgusting. Ruined our wedding anniversary treat.

Disgraceful

I had paid for one night in advance directly with the B&B and she had comfirmed by email. Lovely lady but she had forgotten we were coming but luckily had room. Bedroom very small and TV to right of bed so difficult to see it comfortably and it kept pixilating so couldn't watch any BBC channels. It was ok for a couple of nights but I wouldn't stay there again.

It was OK. Not at all like the pictures online. Great breakfast.

Stayed here in mid September with my brother in law. My brother in law has some mobility issues and the staff were excellent in facilitating all his needs. Wen and her family are very friendly, you get an excellent full English, plus other options. Big portion and all well cooked. Hotel is clean. Location is perfect, 5 mins from Town Centre and Seafront.All in all, a really pleasant stay, and would definitely stay again.

Lovely guest house

This is a little gem, I’ve stayed here for 10 years and with the delightful new owners I think it’s the best stay I’ve had.the welcome was great and nothing was too much trouble.the breakfast was superb and fealty filling.

Better than ever

Such a shame new owner is not a patch on the old one no care was taken in welcoming us .rooms where dirty and was told no more dogs .we will not be returning. Was such a lovely friendly place before new owners 

Gone to pot 

Was nice to stay here with the dogs but now sue has left I will not return. Very hard to understand new owners as there not english and dogs are no longer welcome ..breakfast was a long wait with deep fried sausage. No atmosphere at all in the dinning room
