We spent a very enjoyable weekend in the coach house which is in a lovely situation on its own at the end of the large garden belonging to the main house. It is comfortable and immaculately clean. The outside seating area is also a big bonus in summer. The owners, Toby and Maddy, who live in the main house, were very welcoming and made sure that we had everything! We're definitely hoping to go back when we can.

The Coach House

Fabulous, clean, quiet, spacious and private. Excellent and idyllic scenery, lots to do and see. Found this accommodation wonderful in all regards and felt at home visiting England as an American. Very communicative hosts, good Wi-Fi, reasonably priced for what is provided. Would stay again, 10/10.

Lovely!!!

Wonderfully clean and cosy accommodation in a lovely location. Toby and Maddy made us feel very welcome and were super helpful in recommending places to visit and local walks.
The Coach House has everything you will need for a relaxing stay. We can’t wait to go back and would highly recommend to others.

Lovely cottage but inhospitable hosts. 
Our simple requests of adjusting the heating and additional pillows seemed to be a real inconvenience.Toby then went on to dictate what temperature my baby nephew should sleep at. It was not his place to tell us what a safe temperature was. Whilst in the property, he then went round. And checked every room and scrutinised the way we’d left the property whilst out for the day. This was a real intrusion of privacy. He also told us we needed to move our cars as it was an eye sore to them from their house.Following checkout, we were told that one pillow per person was the norm and that we was were being difficult by asking for two. We have  never stayed anywhere before where less than two pillows are provided. It really felt like they did not want us in their coach house and we can not fathom why they would willingly host guests if this is how they greet and treat them.

Weekend Stay

Lovely clean place to stay. The host Toby made us feel very welcome. Quiet retreat and we would definitely return. Visit the Hampshire Arms Pub for a warm welcome and lovely food. Recommended to us by Toby. Visit Erlands House you will not be disappointed. Good value for money and a lovely nights sleep. Breakfast consisted of hot croissants, fresh fruit and yoghurt and fresh tea and coffee. Enjoy your stay like we did.

Lovely stay

The room was very comfortable and had lovely views from the windows.   The breakfast was lovely, consisting of fresh fruit salad, cereal and croissants.  Toby was an excellent host.  We would recommend Erlands House and stay again.

Erlands House stay

Lovely Coach House set in beautiful surroundings. 
We stayed in the King Room which is the upstairs bedroom of the Coach House.
Very clean and extremely comfortable.
The continental breakfast which included fresh baked croissants and home made jams was exceptional.
Toby was a great host who made sure our stay was absolutely perfect.
Can’t wait to return.

Excellent stay in a beautiful place

Toby was really helpful straight from the start of our stay and throughout. A really friendly and pleasant host. Room and communal areas themselves were all very nice and clean. The surrounds are very pretty too. I would highly recommend this place and definitely go back!

Lovely place, would highly recommend

I really did not want to leave a bad review with everything that is currently going on in the UK right now however i feel compelled i need to write this. 
We were due to stay at Erlands House on Saturday 21st of March for a friends party down in Crondall as we were travelling from near Manchester, but with everything going on and places closing by the day this was cancelled late in the week. I had emailed on Thursday evening asking with everything going on is there any potential we could postpone the stay till the summer when everything had calmed down but unfortunately had no response. I then called on Saturday afternoon after having nothing through and spoke with Toby who was less than forthcoming. I completely understand the stress and situation that everyone is in right now however to be spoken to by a business owner the way i was spoken to was completely out of hand. At this time on the call i wasn't even requesting a refund or a postponement i was merely just asking for a response to my email i sent on Thursday detailing that i would not be able to get a refund or postpone due to the cancellation being within 14 days of the booking which i didn't believe to be a unreasonable request. Toby basically told me on the phone that he had also lost money on bookings and basically i had to just deal with it. This level on customer service i find to be appalling in this current state where we are all in and trying to help each other out but clearly some people have their own agenda. I can't comment on how Erlands house actually was as was really looking forward to staying. I would actually love to know if Toby was still accepting guests on Saturday as was not actaully able to discuss this when i called (as i could have gifted the stay to a friend who lives down south) due to Toby's abruptness when discussing by saying we have spoken and we won't discuss any further.

Regretfully compelled you review service

Toby went above and beyond; nothing was too much trouble.  We were staying whilst attending a family wedding at nearby Northbrook House; but wanted a quieter location. Perfect for Farnham and surrounding villages with lovely walks and pubs. Susan G
