I booked through air bnb which was hosted by Hoseasons then passed onto Woodland Park Lodges and when I found out it’s a family run business, I felt I fobbed them off as the big boys would have taken a cut of the price, so I will certainly be booking direct next time!

We arrived early so headed to the nearby Tesco for the essentials but it turned out we didn’t need them! We stayed in Rowan Lodge and we were pleasantly surprised that there was hand soap, washing up liquid, dish washer tablets, cloths, bin bags etc in the well equipped kitchen, even a little milk in fridge. The dishwasher gave us time off from washing up and the washing machine was a nice touch. The cupboards were full of everything we needed to cater for ourselves. It was clean and having a specific recycling bin was really good. 

The hot tub was nice and clean, ready to use as soon as we arrived. It was such a secluded location so we had lots of privacy when using it. It was checked every morning. 

The lodge itself was so cosy with dimmed lighting and it felt really homely with the sofas and dining table. The 2 double rooms had an en suite each and plenty of storage for clothes etc. 

Our neighbours were prolific rule breakers and other families nearby complained about their disruption but the owners dealt with this very efficiently and their stay was cut short. Vicky then made sure we were ok the next morning which was really nice. 

Alex was super friendly and Keith the caretaker was always around for tourist advice!

I would absolutely recommend this beautiful place. It was a lovely experience and there was plenty to do in the local area, a short drive out. They are currently expanding the sight with new lodges.

Home from home!

The best place to relax. Loved everything about it stayed in orchid treehouse had the best views from windows and hot tub. Absolutely spotless high attention to detail  the bird song is so clear stars are so bright the handbook recommended a star gazing app is was great and useful Highly recommend

Relaxing great price

A relaxing return stay. Perfect location for a leisurely few days away from the madness! The lodges are comfortable and well equipped and the hot tub an excellent bonus. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to returning soon.

Perfect location to chill and unwind.

Family of 5 adults & 2 babies stayed in Orchard Treehouse in May. Gorgeous accommodation and location. Beautiful woodland views, privacy while in the hot tub. We had to rearrange the layout of the bedrooms to have enough space for the cots but that was no issue. The kettle was in desperate need of descaling which is incredibly minor and I'm sure if I'd bothered to mention then it would have been dealt with. The hot tub was cleaned daily. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. One of the twin beds had a very uncomfortable mattress but the other was fine, might resolve with a flip but we didn't try. Overall we would definitely return and 5/5.

Springtime 4 night stay

We had a fabulous midweek 4 night stay in the Bluebell Tree House. 
*  The accommodation was spotless on arrival! 
* The bedrooms were so cosy with comfy beds. 
* The kitchen was well equipped and the welcome pack a lovely gesture
* The open plan living area was great for socialising whilst cooking. 
* Highly recommend you turn the fire on without heat just for that extra cosy feel at night. 
* The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. 
* The gate on the decking was great to ensure our dog could wander outside without getting free. 
* The surroundings are so peaceful and relaxing. Sitting in the hot tub at night looking at the stars and listening to nature with no light or noise pollution was fabulous. 
We cannot rate this place highly enough and would love to return in the future.

Highly recommend - Stunning Tree House

We stayed in the Orchid Treehouse the week before Christmas with the 5 of us, three adults two kids. The lodge is superb. Stunning views and super spacious. The hot tub is amazing and it’s a real break away from the rat race of life. The lodge has everything including a smart tv. 
Would return in a heart beat, so looking at dates now! Brilliant

A Christmas Break away in an amazing treehouse lodge

My partner and I spent 4 nights in willow lodge with the pup. I'll bullet point for easy reading 
•The lodge was warm and comfortable
•Great layout and the kitchen was well equipped
•Nice woodland dog walks on site
•Decent hot tub with a great view..also very private
•Great location...tesco/town centre only a few miles away
•The lady on reception was lovely and welcoming 
•No parking outside your lodge but the car park is seconds away
•lovely grounds



Willow lodge...perfect!

Lovely stay with friends for my birthday. Easy to find and good journey from Manchester. Very peaceful place to stay and chill. Lodge and hot tub excellent. Good value for money. We stayed in Bluebell Tree House and there were 4 of us. WWE had a great time and have already booked for next year

Beautiful area and lovely treehouse

We stayed at Willow lodge. Cleanliness was ok. Beds were comfy and clean. Lighting was very poor , except the kitchen area. Heater in bathroom didn't work. Tub was the best experience. No safety bath mat was provided for shower ( we had to buy one), as shower floor was lethal and dangerous. No curtain/blind on back door. The maintenance man came three times with leaf blower, which was annoying and very noisy.
 

Willow Lodge

Generally very good - bedding was comfortable and clean, the heaters in the lodge worked well as did all of the kitchen appliances and bathroom facilities. The outside seating area could have done with a good clean as there were cobwebs everywhere and has looks like it hasn't been brushed down for some time. The hot tub was nice and private and overall we had a great weekend. Very likely to return.
