Booked this B&B some time ago, couple of lockdowns and changes to wedding nearby and then Liane kindly moved our booking. We then, months ahead tried to cancel as the wedding venue could no longer accommodate us. I asked that given this all came about due to the Covid virus she could allow us our deposit back. In no uncertain terms, No! Whilst I see the T&C's state no refunds, these are very weak T&C's and allow no grace period or allow for a major event such as this. I sent numerous emails and phonecalls over the last month, finally today rec'd a callback and again was told she had suffered, paid charges etc... before I could ask for a partial refund, less her costs, she rudely commented when I said I would leave true reviews and then put the phone down on me! Crikey, I think we have all suffered this last 12 months and Liane @ Sunnyside is the ONLY establishment that have not given refunds to guests due to attend the same wedding.

No Understanding or Empathy

Good location, very clean and tidy, great breakfast and friendly owners.  Easy walk into Edwinstowe which offers selection of local shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants.  The Village Kitchen was excellent.

Great B&B

 Not our first visit to Sunnyside View and won't be our last . We should have had a one night stay in March but due to illness we had to cancel . Leanne was very understanding and we had the choice that if she managed to re let the rooms we could either have our money back or rebook , we decided to rebook .

Visiting family .

We just needed a room for 1 night and this B&B was perfect. The room was clean and cosy and the bed super comfy. The shower was powerful with the huge rainforest head.  I didn't want to get out.
Breakfast was fantastic, I loved the homemade granola with yoghurt.  We also enjoyed yummy Artisan sourdough bread with our cooked breakfast.  
Would definitely recommend
We left some clothes and the owners contacted us immediately so we could go back for them.

Lovely comfortable stay

So lucky to have found this B&B. Run by Liane and David, a down to earth couple with a wonderful sense of humour. We had a one night stay only but it was very comfortable and we would have happily stayed for more. Ok, there were a few creaky floorboards, so what? ..it all added to character of the place, as did the menagerie, ‘fat budgie’ (the parrot) et al! As a ‘gentrified’ ex-Sheffielder (45 years darn sarf) I got pulled up short for straying into posh ..made me feel reet at ‘ome ..brilliant!

Fabulous!

I have only good things to say about Sunnyside View.  Firstly the room was clean, spacious and had a lovely french boudoir feel to it.  I'm usually not a good sleeper on a new bed but this was not the case here; the bed was deliciously soft and gave me a great night's sleep.  The cooked breakfasts were served quickly at a communal table and were great.
An abiding memory is the landlady, Liane, upon hearing I had no lunch provided for a course I was attending, made sandwiches for me!  A lovely gesture which I have never experienced in all the places I have stayed.
I spent a four nights at Sunnyside and would happily spend many more. 

Wonderful Break

Excellent B&B, I would recommend to anyone. Breakfast was brilliant, an amazing choice and nothing too much trouble. Highly recommend the yogurt with fresh sauce. Beds were comfortable and quality bedding. 

Ideal B&B

We were really pleased to have found Sunnyside View for just one night’s visit to the area- good communication, a very friendly welcome, lovely clean room & en-suite, a very comfortable bed and two well positioned chairs looking over the fields and countryside beyond. We had to whizz off very early so didn’t have the breakfast option available. Just what we’d hoped for!

Welcoming, clean & comfy

My Husband and I travelled to his life long school friends wedding. We could not fault this place friendly very clean rooms lush breakfast spot on. Ensuite shower room excellent.  Bed so comfortable and clean.  Credit to the host Liane thankyou for a lovely stay hopefully we will be back in the future

A must stay to anyone visiting Edwinstowe or surrounding areas

This place is ideally situated for a trip to Sherwood Forest you’d be mad to stay anywhere else. The breakfast is fantastic great selection and a nice chat with the owners.
