I know Eastbourne although I hadn't visited for some years. The Hotel is right in the middle of things, town and seafront, shops and walks. The Hotel food is very good but we chose to eat out 2 out of 3 nights because there were good eateries nearby. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the breakfasts great.

A few days at the Seaside in Winter

Couldn't fault anything, staff are extremely helpful and make you feel so welcome comfortable, food is great and served quickly, there's a lovely fresh selection for breakfast, main thing for us was most certainly the staff 5*

Fantastic staff 😄

Excellent service with every member of staff helpful and happy. We even heard a member of staff singing in the kitchen. We booked a Premier Plus room which was excellent value.  The Wi-Fi worked well and breakfast was excellent. 

Great location

Was disappointed with room this visit, normally have room with bath/shower.This room had only a shower, no bath mat so was very slippery.No problem with other amenities, and hotel in good location for shops and seafront  

Central for all areas

Friendly staff, sensible housekeeping (only when requested) comfy bed and a fabulous restaurant. They have really got the recruitment right here, every member of staff was a gem. We will definitely stay again. 

Best budget hotel

Was supposed to stay 2 nights but ending up booking alternative accommodation as just could not stay another night. Shower would not turn off. And the bedroom needed a full refurbishment. Would not stay again. 

Really awful hotel. Would not recommend.

Once at the hotel I had many bookings made under my name/email. Which became quite stressful trying to work out why I was being charged for bookings I hadn’t made. Only to find I hadn’t been checked in properly at the desk, hence them making new bookings under my name. Took me complaining to someone to have this looked into. I had no phone calls or emails to say they thought I hadn’t checked in and were making amendments to my booking (even though I’d checked in the night before!)

Nice location though and comfortable bed. Shame the stress of all these booking emails ruined my experience.

Stressful at times

First visit in 18 months when COVID restrictions were still in place.  

Room was ok but beginning to look dated and in need of a refresh. Both venting and heating could have been quieter - couldn't consider heat before being awake as it would have annoyed me. Bed ok but did have a bit of a creak which I have advised in a separate review direct to Premier Inn. 

Was grateful to be contacted in advance that the lift was out of action and to be given a first floor room as requested. Others attending the same event as me didn't get this warning. 

Only ate in the restaurant once as I spotted a really nice Cafe a minute's walk around the corner on my last visit (closed at the time due to the pandemic) and wanted to support a smaller business to help it get back on it's feet.  First breakfast so lovely I returned 2 more days and only on Sunday when it wasn't open I opted for the Premier Inn's continental breakfast which I had a late visit and it was winding down but food quality was as expected.

Return visit for another family event

Fantastic stay, comfy bed and brilliant staff. We were informed of a lift problem prior to arrival and it didn’t really impact us, food was spot on at breakfast thanks to Trevor :)

Went down to see family and was the perfect spot for an overnight trip.

Brilliant

Lovely stay, helpful staff, everything you'd expect from a decent premier inn! Even though the lifts were out of service, the team were great at accommodating us - felt looked-after and supported. If you book in advance you can get a decent rate as well, ideal all round
