Well as I have stay here previously I must say I still can’t say a bad word about the whole experience as I am staying here for 8 weeks and I returned to my room after a very long day and was welcomed with a freshly cleaned room and even my clothes that was scattered randomly around the room was neatly folded and stacked on the bottom of my bed, after staying in many hotels due to constant work away from home commitments I found this awesome and lifted my spirits and made we want to find the individual and thank personally!!!
The bar staff are very friendly and informative especially when enquiring about what is the special on the menu which again is very well presented and tasty with the bonus of been very reasonably priced.....
Will always stay if in area again that is for sure!!!

Can’t fault it tbh

The Lincoln arms is a lovely pub/hotel staff are friendly and helpful. I had a lovely room with clean fresh towels nice and clean room. Tea and coffee in rooms fully stocked. The bedding is nice and fresh looking nice and warm with extra little heater if needed. The food is excellent and good value for money  nice outside seating in the sunshine. Will definitely stay again   🙂

Called in after a job interview to calm my nerves. 

Although this venue is designed for a heavy footfall due to its position next to Dorking station I was impress by the service and attention to detail by the girl covering the ‘graveyard’ shift. 

She had a welcoming smile and noticed when my beer was looking flat even though I’d already drunk half. (She didn’t replace it just put it in a newer glass) which worked wonders.  

I left around 4pm when most of the regulars were arriving. She is obviously well thought of  totally professional.

All staff was friendly kind. 
After a long drive from Rotherham was nice to put my feet up for half hour before we met family down in the bar and have some thing to eat

Comfy room, good facilities available in the room. Room very clean. Staff very friendly, good check in information. A very pleasant stay will return again. Friendly pub good very good and food menu very good value for money. Good atmosphere in the pub

Review of the pub and accommodation

I turned up at the pub off the London train at 2pm when it turns out that lunch was officially closed, (my first time in Dorking and no other eatery/cafe nearby). As I needEd something to eat before going to an appointment (town centre was a bit of a walk in the rain with a trolley case), I asked if they would consider just makIng me something simple. The bar tender and chef were very kind and let me order from the menu. Going beyond the call of duty - when the battered fish and salad panini arrived it was delicious and good value for money. For great service and nice food, highly recommended. Thank you so much guys for helping me out in a bind. 🙂

Helpful staff, good pub grub

I recently popped into the pub in the evening and i was completely estounded as to the negative and quite frankly arrogant and self absorbed persona from the female manager whos name i do not know, she was very judgemental and had the tounge of a sewage system, when i ordered my drink i was looked at like i asked her to cut her arm off and give it to me, very poor custimer service.

New staff management?!

The date was the last time I frequented the establishment, the bar staff are quite friendly but the smell of weed off them is not good.  Cocaine is rife in the pub there are remenants of powder in the toilets also the clientele who are regulars in there are always out of their heads.  It’s very clicky wherein the regulars and bar staff are not the friendliest if your not known .  The rooms are disgusting and not to any level a b&b should be , my advice would be look elsewhere it’s a bit of a dossers pub with a rehabilitation house around the corner too .... thumbs down I’m afraid 😏

Revolting bar staff

Stayed here as it was in reasonable distance for an event we were attending. When we arrived it obvious we would not be able to eat there in the evening due to the very loud music in the bar. 
Went to our double room which only one person could enter at a time due to the location of the bed. Room smelt very musty, opened the 3 windows to fine that we had to prop one of them open as it kept falling down.
The bedding was an interesting mix of patterns and there was a fair sized hole in the quilt cover.
We found the reason for the musty smell as the shower room had no ventilation at all. Curtains were falling off the rails. Trying to make a cup of tea in the morning I found that at some point the kettle had been boiled dry at some point and inside was black. Despite trying to rinse it out a number of time there were still parts of the black in the water. Then found there was only one cup for the double room.
A family member staying in a different room made a cup of tea and found, on opening the milk pot that not only was it stale but it had gone solid.
Never ever would we consider staying here again.
