Excellent staff , from reception to departure nothing was too much trouble  for them . Thank you so much , would I return ?definitely !! the staff members warmth and excellent customer service envelops you from start to finish . The building is under refurbishment when hopefully it will match the quality of staff 

Basic clean comfortable accommodations but excellent staff , nothing was too much trouble. Restaurant excellent food 

The hotel is right in the centre of Coventry, its the second time we have been to this hotel 3 years ago and nothing has changed, it seems just like before with the same paint and stain carpets, but saying that the hotel is ok with the bus station right in front and all the town centre to the side it's ideal. The room was ok, clean, beds had clean sheets and bathroom was ok, but the room was not vacuumed while we were there. Food was ok and hot, I think the breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and the reception check in was fast. There is entertainment on at night and it was a bit hit and miss, but it was better than going up to your room. I would recommend this hotel

SENTRAL HOTEL

A very mixed bag. Booked at last minute so other hotels not available

On the negative side the hotel is tired at best. Split bathroom door, hot water tap on the wrong way round, one of the two windows had no handles and could not be shut, very busy and noisy main road location

Some things were ok. Friendly welcome from receptionist, car parking was a plus, breakfast was ok and friendly staff

Wouldn't rush back but it was cheap so not too bad

Could have been a lot better

Had to stay here for 4 days for business, what a dump. I am staggered that places like this still exist. From the potholes in the car park, to the massive stain on the ceiling in reception, the whole place has just been allowed to flounder. Horrible marks on walls and frayed/threadbare carpets appear all over. The only reason I havent given it a 1 star was that the bedding and towels were both new and clean. Avoid this hotel if you possibly can....


Awful Hotel

Most awful place I've ever stayed!
Rooms tiny, smelly, warm, with views of a carpark.  Toilets tiny, smelly, wet floors.
Dodgy location.
Poor service-reception staff don't look professional and clearly don't care about customer service.
Has a reputation as being somewhere people take others for a one night stand as it's so cheap.  Also tends to get a lot of builders, etc, staying overnight on the way to their latest job.
Only positive thing is the cheap price-but you definitely get what you pay for.
Just a totally depressing place.
Avoid if you possibly can!

Booked last year for an overnight stay at the end of June but the hotel cancelled on us with no reason given. I can only assume they've gone out of business and from the reviews it looks like we dodged a bullet. (Have had to give our travel date as April 22 as TA won't accept a review without one)

I've stayed at this hotel several times over the past ten years due to being booked in there on business trips where every expense is spared.

If you're planning on getting drunk on a massive night out in Cov and don't care where you end up, this place is ideal.

If you are aware of your surroundings, however....you'll find this a very unpleasant experience. On every trip I've found the staff rude, uncooperative, aggressive, seemingly very angry at minor tasks such as having to check in guests and would follow my group and demand head counts to make sure we were all in our apropriate rooms.

Lowlights included one member of staff who barged into my room to demand to know why there was an extra person in there (they had another room across the hall, he was in mine to chat before we went out) and refusing my partner entry and accusing her of being a prostitute.

Horrific place. Last time I stayed in Coventry I had the option of this place, or sleeping outside the train station until morning. I had a more pleasant experience outside the train station passed out on my bag.
