Lee and his assistant were excellent couldn't be more helpful in organising another 2 extra days at a more reasonable price , I recommend this Premier Inn to any one staying in Colchester .The rooms are excellent and the beds are superb great nights sleep

Colchester A12 premier inn is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. On arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful with getting us booked in and into our room. The staff all had smiles on their faces and were very welcoming and friendly. Lucy the manager was there and was very helpful with information about things to do in Colchester. Lucy was really polite and seems like she is running the site really well. I would definitely recommend staying at this premier inn. I will be going back soon, thanks Lucy and all staff for making the stay so easy and stress free.

Best hotel I’ve ever stayed at

Had a really lovely weekend stay and plenty of Christmas shopping with the town centre being near by, accommodation was very clean and tidy, and all the staff were very helpful and friendly, had plenty of choice in the onsite pub/restaurant menu and very reasonable priced, i would thoroughly recommend.

Warm and welcoming stay

Have stayed in this Premier Inn before, and was not disappointed then.  Rooms are spotless especially the bathroom.  Bedding is very white and clean and the bath towels are very thick, fluffy and white.  Staff super friendly, could not fault them.   Perfect service from the staff at Premier Inn A12.

Super clean hotel, very friendly staff

Stayed here 1st-3rd November for the weekend whilst visiting friends. The welcome on reception was quick, polite & friendly. A fairly large hotel and there's a lot of building works going on at the minute but this didn't disturb us at all. We received an email before our stay saying some noise may be heard between 8am & 6pm but we heard nothing on this particular weekend. It looks like they're re-doing the rooms on the ground floor. 

Our room was clean, smelt fresh, kept a good temperature, there was plenty of hot water, clean white fluffy bath towels, lots of hanging space for our family of 3 good lighting, & we slept very well.  

Help yourself to extra tea, coffee, sugar & milk in reception whenever you need it & the staff were helpful when I requested some extra hand towels.

We didn't try the attached restaurant/pub, so can't comment on that. 

We managed to get parked both nights round the back of the hotel even after arriving after 10pm both nights. There was parking in the pub car park also.

Great location for us & we would stay here again.

Can't beat a Premier Inn Bed 👌💜

We have stayed here on numerous occasions and every time without fail the staff have engaged with my 2 year old. He always looks forward to staying in the "Moon Hotel".

Special shout out to Sandie as she always finds something to entertain the children, whether it's a beach pack for a day at the beach or a zoo pack for a day at the zoo. She even found some colouring in pictures of owls for my son as that happened to be the animal of the month for him.

Have always had a great night sleep whenever we have stayed here.

A Premier Inn is a Premier Inn is a Premier Inn - but this one felt a little better than some I’ve stayed in. Efficient, friendly staff - but without the over-familiarity one often gets these days.
The food and service in the adjacent TableTable pub was also very good and the meal deal was good value.

Great stay as always , all staff are so friendly,  nothing is never to much trouble for any of them, we are aleays made to feel so welcome ,

Great stay 

A big thank to Sandie and Sue on the night shift. Though there was not any accommodation avaliable. They did there best to look me after I had driven from Basildon on my way home  to Woodbridge in Suffolk. But due to thick fog and the A12 being closed. It was safer for me to take a break. These two ladies are a credit to your company. They made me a hot drink and offered me a pillow and a quilt so I could sleep for a couple of hours in my car.which was very much appreciated. I was looked after by Sandie and Sue at the premier inn,close to the A12. These two ladies deserve some recognition  for what they did for me.

Premier Inn assistance 

An amazing hotel, lead by example the second I walked through the door. The room bathroom and corridor was clean, had a lovely atmosphere thanks to this. The service and greeting from sandie and sue was so welcoming and had a lovely attitude no matter what the time. Lead by example on how service should be from a hotel, something very rare from night-time staff. Would highly highly recommend for everyone.
